  1. How has the ref blown for full time? They were booting the ball and our players for 3.5 mins of the 4 added and he only let an extra corner be taken?
  2. Wolves are scared. Make the most of it Villa please
  3. Calm down, no need to sell him, bad day at the office but he's been improved lately in the season. Ings experiment harmed him massively
  4. Should've scored one of his two 1-on-1s at least
  5. Guys clueless. If you're going to bring Dougie on to settle it down, you do it at half time or early second half. Not when we've already been more composed for 35 minutes of the game and needing an attacking or creative spark. He's not a game changer you bring on at 70 mins to drive the midfield forwards. I don't think he knows what he's doing well enough, openly says the team don't buy into his system but his system looks very flawed and he doesn't know how to get the most out of it or his players.
  6. Bailey and Ramsey off for Buendia and Chuk I think for me.
  7. Coutinho not happy. Getting very frustrated every time an attack breaks down
  8. Sanson and Bailey need more time on a pitch together. There's very slight glimpses that they could play well together on that side but they're off the wavelength and both a bit rusty, the ideas of the quick passing and moving is interesting though, wouldn't be against seeing more of it
  9. Long term, absolutely. For the second half of the season I think he should've been made to stay. Sell him in the summer and sign a backup or younger player to challenge Digne. It's what we'll end up doing anyway but a bad decision to move him on early
  10. This just isn't true. The Watford game was shocking, yeah, he's not been as good this season sure. But I'm not suggesting he should've started over Digne. I'm suggesting a proper left back in their prime years on the bench is better than having to trot Young out all.the time. We needed competition and ideally an upgrade. We signed an upgrade and **** off the competition immediately.
  11. Yes. Undoubtedly. We were desperate for competition at Left back. He was our player of the year last season. I absolutely would've preferred we kept him even though he wanted out for 6 months than constantly need to be putting 35 year old winger Ashley Young it at Left Back instead. Also, parts of the fan base have slated Targett for being a bottle job for 2 years and suddenly he was going to go toe-to-toe with Gerrard and Purslow and kick off so much he would ruin the team morale and refuse to train and play? Nah. Not having it. Should've been kept.
  12. So what? You don't just cave in immediately and weaken the squad to help a team that is going to rinse us in the transfer market for the next decade. Was a ridiculous move. Whether he wanted it or not.
  13. Lovely little Jink and pass by Sanson. Such a positive midfielder
  14. Really pisses me off our fans just allow Mings to get pelters for 90 minutes every week rather than back him up and chant his name
  15. We'd probably be close to relegation without our set pieces this year lol
  16. Record Signings: Spurs: Ndombele £54m, Davinson Sanchez £37m Leicester: Tielemens £40m West Ham: Haller £45m, Anderson at £35m Wolves: Fabio Silva £36m, Jimenez £34m. Arsenal: Pepe £74m, Auba £58m, White £52m Liverpool: VVD £75m, Alisson £56m, Keita £54m. Chelsea and the Manchester Clubs obviously spend it much more regularly. But those first 4 are the most attainable for us to catch up to, none have spent £60m ever. Ndombele is there or there abouts but has had nowhere near the impact you'd hope. When you include Arsenal and Liverpool, Pepe a ridiculous overspend. Auba wasn't quite £60m but was great for a while to be fair before it ended in disaster. VVD, Alisson very worth the money. We don't need to suddenly start spending £60m a player. We need to get the right players and improve them. As we have been trying to do for the last few years... But just a higher level of player.
  17. Digne is out there. Thought I couldn't see him at first but he's there
  18. It would have to be Archer but are we sure we are able to recall them?
  19. Must be a late injury to somebody (Ings?) U23s played last night, another age group in action today already. That's only reason I can see.
