What if (it's a longshot) he does manage to get PNE promoted and they want him in the Prem? What do you do then, he'll have been too good for the championship, wanted in the Prem and we'll be maybe wanting a third (or replacement striker). We aren't at the level to be loaning players to our league in positions of need are we? Would be an interesting one. PNE have 14 games to go and are 4 points off the Play off spaces. The teams above them have games in hand so it's a longshot but not impossible in that league - wasn't long ago we managed something similar. In that situation I think he could very well compete with Ings and Watkins in their current form. Or if we sell one and buy a replacement he'd be a good third option. If we keep Ings and Watkins and sign Suarez, he's probably going to have to go on loan though

I think JPb would suit our system well. Don't get me wrong, with Buendia, Bailey and Coutinho he isn't going to be starting games but as a way of changing the style and keeping the system the same, he'd be a natural fit. If I think back to his inclusion at the Barrow game, he drifted from wide-right, came into centre playing a 1-2 with somebody in the box before laying it off for Ramsey to get his goal from the left. I think he'd fit the style of two drifting, narrow 10s quite well. He'd play it differently and he'd be wider than our other options, but he has the technical ability and vision to make it work.

Two red cards in a season. Awful today. Our worst starting CB. Hause extension and signing Chambers over genuine competition for Konsa and Mings is almost as bad business as not signing a DM. To leave DM, CB and LB with no genuine competition is a travesty after the incredible start to our January window. Fortunately Digne is good. But to come out with 2/3 of our biggest weaknesses virtually unaddressed is shocking.

Same things our own fans do with his mistakes but we aren't willing to support him enough whilst he's getting this from the opposition.

Chuk ain't getting the contract and minutes he thinks he is elsewhere on this performance. A lot to learn. Which is fine, he's 18, but needs to get his head down and play football
