    I agree mark - this is as high a feeling as the strength of the low when relegated - every fan of football will be looking at Villa nodding in appreciation of what us the fans are experiencing.

    Just can't see VP being redeveloped - there simply isn't the footfall necessary to make it viable in the long term. A new VP would be part of a district with multiple reasons for people to visit - Witton could never be that, there isn't the space to develop.

    I think both teams will want a slower tempo, and Arsenal will be resting at least a couple of players knowing full well we will too. Won't be one to remember but if we're disciplined we can sneak a point. If we're downright lucky we can sneak a win but I don't see it.

    Personally I quite enjoy backing other teams to do well in order that we get UCL, because it’s a result you’ll never lose on, as there’s equal or more joy to be had when the likes of Liverpool get raped at home

    So next week, pessimisticly City - win and through - +0.25 Arse - loss and out - 0.285 to germans West Ham - draw - and out - +0.125 to us, 0.142 to germans Liverpool - win - and out - +0.25 Us - draw - and through - +0.125 Atletico to beat Dortmund Germans - 17.213 England - 17.5 Leaves the the germans and us with x2 teams each left. You'd fancy city in the semis, and you'd fancy us to match BL's run.

    Lots of huge new stadiums recently built in London, nearer to Wembley than us, Wembley is not a competitor to them. The national stadium ref was to do with where is it easiest for the most people to travel to. Taylor Swift concerts for example, they locate them in such places. I would wager that location would be the centre of England- and that a new stadium can generate money when we are not watching football in it.

    Seems quite obvious to me. If the current ground is not being redeveloped in a substantial way then the vision currently held by those that decide, must be to build new elsewhere. Birmingham was once touted as the home of the new national stadium, Villa go and build exactly that then they get all the tour bookings and non-football business you could want with folks travelling from north south east and west into the heart of England. I think they are going to go huge on this. But obvs not as huge as blues new stadium course.
