  1. Nah - people cause it - under the banner of religion
  2. More than noticed, tory MPs have based their careers on it.
  3. The US has banned abortion, Israel has an attitude that being so close to god gives them a right to mass murder, and have you met UK evangelists? Very weird people, but they are prevalent especially amongst the middle classes, and they are also devout and dedicated. It freaks me out that a middle class mate has a brother that is an evangelist - a church of theirs used to be just a church but it's now a mostly white stronghold of wealthy easily scared people in the centre of Bristol. These people are supposed to care about share prices etc but they have a theological foundation. There is so much good about religion but we are moving from nationalism to theologiasm, it's scary shit.
  4. If we are Corbyn Vs Farage and slightly backing Corbyn, then that's the shitest moral standing you can imagine
  5. It is difficult not to notice American clamour for scripture. Also Israeli clamour for theological supremacy. The UK has evangelisists, but I'm pretty sure we are quite secular. Personally I am worried that most of the western world has lost rationality.
  6. How can you be sure given what’s happened already and the lack of protest compared to the protest against reforms of the judiciary oversight pre October? I don’t see a country wanting to change course.
  7. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2024/mar/09/tens-of-thousands-of-pro-palestine-protesters-march-through-london
  8. Sweden and Canada resuming funding of UNRWA - glad to see it. Just goes to show what theatre that all was.
  9. x5 very winnable home fixtures for English clubs next week, while Germans have x2 similar games. Reckon we get very close to them at close of play next Thursday.
  10. Stays at 8 and 7. Simply put we are on par with Germany with them keeping their points advantage until we have significantly more teams left in Europe than them. Could happen in a couple of rounds and could change quite quickly.
  11. Not a problem. It can turn around in one set of fixtures as it stands.
  12. So the gap remains pretty much what it was. Need better next week all round!
  13. These guys do it but there's a bit of a lag https://www.espn.co.uk/football/story/_/id/39054486/the-race-five-places-next-seasons-champions-league Points earnt tonight mean we are currently about 0.7 points behind, if West Ham win then it's more like 0.3
  14. So the race with Germany after tonight so far has seen us get one draw each, and then one win for us. Come on you bubble blowing tools!
  15. We don't need to win this tonight, just stay in the fixture and keep our major players fit for Spurs, then we can go for it at home. I think this will be 1-1. ish.
  16. I think my maths are right but a clean sweep for English clubs tonight and losses for the Germans takes us into that 2nd spot for the extra place... Oh hang on, Qarabag ain't gonna win. Should be hardly any gap later though, if nobody capitulates.
  17. Pretty sure Emery will be playing it safe for this game, i.e. anyone anywhere near an injury won't play. Can even see Chambers start.
  18. As Emery might say, there's still much work to be done, but premature ejaculation is on the horizon.
  19. Time will tell, but I trust he will do well (would have said come good but didn't want the kenneth).
  20. Utd beat citeh and I don't want that - but it is possible
  21. We can say what a weak team at set pieces, what a weak team at going 2-0 up, but you have to know that is exactly what Unai sees, and is why we go for 2 or 3 nil, we are lacking the beautiful forehead of mings and there is only one way to compensate.
