Struggling to think of a better quality league in the world than the Premier League. Arguably the two best club teams in the world at the moment despite not winning the Champions League and then even us as an example at 14th, yes 14th in the league has massive quality throughout it's squad and rich owners. I cant think of any other league that has some of the best teams in the world and still have massive quality teams at 14th in the league. Of course the Premier League is overhyped but it's the best league in the world on a number of factors including quality.

Club are taking advantage again. The gear is nice but something you can buy because its fairly generic designs for a lot cheaper normally but whack a VIlla badge on it and charge silly prices.

Spurs arent Tier 1, they are in Tier 2 of that list. Chelsea faded in the second half of the season and still finished above Spurs by 3 points. Arsenal were favourities for 4th place until they lost it and then Spurs took over. Just no way Spurs can be considered Tier 1 over the others. Tier 3 & 4 Im not sure how you determine that...ambition, owners, league placing, recent history. For example Brighton finished 6 points and 5 places above us and arguably with a decent striker could've done even better. West Ham are miles above us on 11 points and last season had European football, I bet they dont consider us in the same catergory. I think you combine Tier 3 & 4 and it depends on a particular season how each do, sometimes a team does well, sometimes they do poorly. The difference is that we have more money, but some of the others have consistency finishing higher than us regularly.

I agree I just dont see us close to Europe based on what we have currently. Hopefully some additional signings will give us more of a chance. As you say, injuries and settling in for the new players will determine where we end up based on the talent we have currently. Praying that Kamara hits the ground running, is as good as we think he is and settles really well into the team...he could be a real difference maker, but its really asking and expecting a lot for that to happen quickly.

The flaw in your argument is that you don’t vote based on a single issue. Somebody could agree with the Republican platform generally but not on abortion. They may have voted Republican because they had been told that Roe was settled law even by the new Supreme Court justices so voted Republican in line with their beliefs. They would probably voted Republican anyway but the representatives may not reflect some states voters on this individual issue. Obviously some states they will.

I agree, he’ll get significant game time because the amount of games and quality of games plus the 5 sub rule.

You can doubt all you want but Phillips isn’t going there to get very little game time with World Cup around the corner. Rodri is special, I agree but Pep obviously sees something in Phillips and Phillips will have wanted assurances he’s going to get game time, no way would he not. I’m surprised by the deal as well but no chance he’s not getting game time.

Obviously we have difference of opinion somewhat on this but especially when we have done so little since apart from a few league cups. We are so much more than a cup but it’s the biggest achievement in our history and largely we have been poor since. We get disrespected as a club so often by people outside the club, this is something we can flaunt back in their faces and be proud! Yes 40 years ago but still an achievement so few clubs do and it’s nice to remind other clubs we have done it.
