What a pathetic comment. People are allowed an opinion you know, it doesn't mean that they don't know what a cm does. 'People are allowed an opinion' is possibly the most redundant thing you could possibly say and a tiresome cliche to boot. I didn't say that they aren't allowed their opinion - I basically said that their opinions were wrong. That's my opinion, which surely I'm allowed to have, right?

We'll be conceding a shed-load of goals then. If we are going to base our season on pre season friendlies that we will be getting relegated. Thankfully pre-season is for fitness and are not competitive games. It annoys me that we have to reiterate this every year I'm not just basing this on friendlies - I'm basing it on the fact that he isn't a CB and IMO doesn't have the mental attributes to be one.

There are two real areas of concern for me: 1) Giving Richards the captaincy. 2) Playing Richards as a CB.

Seems a bit redundant talking about Berbatov and Balotelli - I'd say it's massively unlikely that we'll be signing either of them. Adama Traore has been linked though, which is interesting. Anyone seen him?

I think he knows a lot about the attacking side of the game but I think he knows sod all about defending, which is my concern.

We don't know that - he got us that close with the signings he made, so he might have been able to do it. Ah well, it's all history now and nothing to do with Sherwood I guess. For some reason, I don't get the feeling that Sherwood will be with us for that long. I've no idea why.

An extremely brief tweet, using an unnatural construction (new player of) and a spelling mistake (verry), doesn't prove his ability to speak English. I watched his AVTV interview (which was all in French). He said that he is looking forward to learning English. Granted, that doesn't mean that's not his Twitter. I think it's highly unlikley though. It's really basic - he could easily have written it. As he's French, he most likely studied English a bit at school, so he probably knows a little.
