    Releasing him without some deal makes no sense to him. If the management agrees with him some sort of wage cut but he instead receive lump sum after leaving then maybe he will.

    So a shrewd CEO that in his tenure made Spurs go from being in similar position to us to becoming established Top 4 side is doing his job very well. It'd be nice to have a competent CEO at our club. This is business ffs, don't understand the hate, he tried to get excellent player for cheap. It didn't pay off this time. He used same strategy before and got Eriksen for 12 million. What a deal.

    It's quite simple. Xia still believes in few years we can get to Premier League. Cardiff has shown spending next to nothing can mean promotion. If we go up to BPL the value of the team will increase tenfolds.
