  1. Cardiff have Norwich and Forest who have nothing to play for. And Hull and Reading as last two games, where it is highley likely they will be safe and have again nothing to play for. I would lower the optimism, Cardiff don't play amazing but they grind out results exactly against teams like above. Of course stranger things have happened but it's hard to see.
  2. Not suited to deal with depressing Aston Villa crap is more legitimate excuse
  3. So all we need to win is make sure every other team starts with 10 players. Get it done Tony
  4. If Tony is wise he'll sack him 1 minute after we win play-offs.
  5. Yea that's why they are in relegation battle. So not saying much.
  6. Getting him ready for play offs will require to get up to speed with fitness and match intensity. He needs games
  7. We used to as well, until our recent run. Let's hope we regain our old form back in time for play-offs.
  8. While they might not be the biggest team in England they are quickly becoming number one team worldwide in terms of English teams, especially in the younger generations.
  9. He chose us specifically so he wouldn't get to play against Chelsea, or at least he didn't want to play in Prem. P.S. But apparently he had change of heart. Interesting. But not good enough for BPL, too slow. Although I guess spending 100k per week on a leader in dressing room is still better than what we used to spend on Nzogbia.
  10. When Lerner came there was significant injection of money to. But there was no plan. Just buy overpaid English junk and hope for the best. And it's fair to say the same thing happened under Tony. Injection of funds with zero plan or strategy, just buy the players with most goals and assists in the league and we should win aayyyy
  11. Yes and we never went 2nd in that time. P.S. We did go 2nd at one point but was it during this run? Why can'y you delete embarassing points on here, such a needed feature
  12. Ehm... not sure if serious or not. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Financial_Fair_Play_Regulations
  13. Clearly the strategy of looking at the highest scorer in the league and highest assister is not as successful as Tony would have liked. So maybe a new shrewder strategy will suit us better anyway.
  14. I fail to understand why he gets so much criticism, yes he isn't great player but he cost less than 2 million. There's people praising Hogan for running and working hard, yet give Birkir shit. I think for what he cost us, we got a good utility player, but his performance reflect his price pretty well.
  15. Based on past season and this I think the question is more how can we get rid of them with their way above wages for 2nd league then just getting rid.
  16. Yea great idea, when even Man City go to ridiculous ways to pass FFP yet the scrawny Aston Villa is gonna take UEFA to court and win. Can we go to court about how we got unfairly relegated because we had a shit team? That'd be nice.
  17. I am proven wrong, thanks for that. He did created one chance. And I'm sure one more. But then again hyperboles aren't meant to be taken literally. If only Kodjia played at CAM he would have channeled his inner KDB and provided Hogan and Grabban with hattricks for days. I'm not trying to be facetious but calling him a creator is stretch, and watching his clip of all the goals he scored for us, almost all look like typical poacher's goals. Saying he created them ouf of nowhere seems pretty wild.
  18. If you read what I wrote carefully, maybe you'd understand I didn't call him a bad striker, I rate him highly in that regard.
  19. Kodjia never created any ideas or chances, he took them. He would be as lost as Grabban or Hogan in this team currently.
  20. Some?I'd say basically all. Elphick, Tshibola, Gollini, Hogan and McCormack,Taylor, De Laet and Lansbury have been complete failures to name from my head. I include Hogan in the list because of the cost. If he cost 1 million he'd be about what you expect from a Championship striker, try hard and run a lot. Out of 17 signings that cost 76 million pounds only Adomah and Chester I would classify as great buys.
  21. And Kodjia is the guy to create ideas? We are really scraping the barrel then.
  22. Even if we go up, he has to go. His style of play will get us relegated with worse margin than last time
  23. 3 games that will define this club for a long long time. With how FFP looks not promoting will be a huge setback. Could well become another Forest.
  24. I think it will be a minor miracle if we come through playoffs. I'm sure the players and managment will know our FPP situation in back of the minds. The pressure is gonna be immense.
  25. With the way FFP looks, if we don't get through play-offs I see more gloom in the near future
