    Browns had a win earlier versus the Packers. Starters seemed to improve on their efforts last week.

    How?! I offered him every week to all clubs at £0 yet received no bids at all. Few clubs showed interest but stated that they could not match the demands in wages that Heskey is likely to ask. In the end left on a free bosman, Cardiff signed him as a bosman and i subscribed to his news feed. He went 24 hours without a goal. This game is too realistic. First transaction I managed in my game was selling Heskey to MON/Sunderland for 1m. Just offered him around and MON was the only one interested.

    To be fair mate, I don't think anybody has said that (correct me if I'm wrong). This thread got off the topic of Holman 3-4 pages ago.

    Funnily enough all the goalscorers in that game (Popovic, Kewell, Jeffers & Emerton) all ended up in the A-League. The latter 3 all played last season!

    When I was 13 I really got into the 1998 World Cup and was getting up in the middle of the night to watch the tournament here in Australia. I was talking to my Uncle (a Liverpool fan) about the tournament when it had finished and he said I should pick a team in the Premier League to follow, so I had a look at the list of teams and chose Villa because of their name. My Dad then went to the Villa website at work and came home with about 30 pages of squad information & the history the club. Been hooked ever since.

    West Ham away opening day isn't going to be an easy assignment. Upton Park isn't a place I can remember us coming away with many points in recent years. Also, like previous seasons we have some horrible stretches... United (H), City (A), Arsenal (H) in a row is close to as tough as it gets. Liverpool (A), Chelsea (A) & Tottenham (H) in the space of 12 days isn't much easier either.
