I'd just like to avoid a period where we cop Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, United etc in the space of 5-6 games. Seems to have happened 2-3 seasons in a row now.

I saw a few in Melbourne when we were with Nike & doing well. As soon as we began to slide down the table we disappeared. Has always shitted me the amount of West Ham stuff I see over here compared to Villa.

Be nice to see a few people walking around in Villa shirts with Holman on the back as opposed to all the Everton (Cahill) & Liverpool (Kewell) I see.

Good luck to Lambert, hopefully he'll be able to pull us out of the pit of despair we are currently in. Oh and credit to Faulkner for taking advantage of a loophole in his contract instead of paying through the nose like we have been for players/staff.

For Aussie Villains Makoun has been named in the squad for Olympiakos' friendly against Melbourne Victory on Saturday night. Mellberg has also been included.

Browns fan here due to the obvious connection. Hoping the additions of Weeden & Richardson can get the offense going this season! I could handle the losses a bit better if we could at least be a bit more entertaining and put some points on the board (same goes for Villa...).
