  1. Exactly what's in my thoughts. He may not be the most mobile but he has shown he can get on the end of a cross. So with Cissokho showing that he can get down the line and whip in some decent balls I hope we do more of this when Libor is back...and maybe get Hutton to do the same occasionally. agree completely. So far he hasnt had any crosses provided for him but knowing the genius that is PL once kozak is back he will tell them to play balls in behind for him to run on to
  2. Only 15 players created more than him last season. a lot of those were from corners but hes a good player only reason he seems to lose the ball so much is because hes trying to play in gabby and weimann who don't exactly make the best runs. put him in a team with better runners and he would instantly look a lot better
  3. quietly impressed with him vlaar didnt have to spend all game telling him where to be like he does with the 2 idiots used his experience well not sure where okore fits in atm
  4. its not that he dosent want to but who would take him. no movement no pace too much time on the weights serious lack of technique for a premiership player

  6. They swapped around a fair bit at Stoke with Weimann up front and Gabby on the wing for parts of the second half in particular. no coincidence that we scored when this happened
  7. if saints are offering £12m for long we should sell vlaar for the same
  8. win the games we are expected to win no lose to shity teams in up when we have a chance of a decent cup run
  9. If we did that I am done. Its awful. It would be cool if we couldn't understand the words. Good god no! I had to endure this at the world cup. It single handedly made me want the US to get knocked out. no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no we would become the joke of the league
  10. thats not true though is it, a few teams will set up with a deep defence because of his pace, arsenal being the obvious one, they always do it, im not saying that he's effective or has good games vs those teams but they do set up for him we'd have absolutely no trouble selling gabby for around £8m if ever we wanted to, thats the going rate for championship strikers... no championship club would pay £8m for gabby rhodes & mccormack score a lot of goals in th e championship, i doubt gabby would went because for stupid money to relegated clubs release him and be done with, let him spend all his time in the gym bulking up
  11. how do i join I have joined
  12. im in shit defence great midfield shit strikers
  13. Guzan Bacuna Okore Vlaar Richardson Delph Westwood N'Zogbia Cole Grealish Benteke That's with everyone fully fit like you say but I actually wouldn't mind seeing that team start the season with Weimann in the place of Benteke. I still would like to see a bit more of Weimann up front rather than being played out wide and it could be interesting in this set up. I still haven't lost faith in Weimann when he plays up front although I can understand anyone who has. I'd hope N'Zogbia, Cole and Grealish would create a lot of chances, so maybe an on form Bent in that position, getting on the end of things and finishing the chances that'd come his way, wouldn't be too bad either. maybe for home games if we play that at stoke we wouldn't be able to cope
  14. will always be a better rb than bacuna if hutton is 1st choice matt should be second
  15. why why why this is just asking for something bad to happen to the lad
  16. tend to agree now we need to 1. get the best price 2. not sell him on deadline day with no time to replace him
  17. Likes of which we see week in week out from Gabby, Weimann and N'Zogbia. are you for real?? gabby is consistently shite for 10 games then has 1 good game to stop being dropped weimann was a walking piece of mediocrity for pretty much the whole of last season nzogbia hasnt played week in week out last year - he had a good 2 months at the end of lamberks 1st season
  18. didnt watch the game but its not exactly a surprise a team of academy graduates with minimal first team football lost to a team that start the season in 2 weeks was a decent move
  19. They won't be paying anything like that which is exactly why they didn't make it permanent in the first place. Going by Koeman's comments, he really is just being used as a stop-gap while they groom Matt Targett, another off the production line, to become first-choice. That is not the point. If the World Cup is anything to go by, Lukaku £28m, played like a kid, Bertrand £10m, didn't play, Lovren, nothing spectacular, £20m, Vlaar best CD at the World Cup, less than £10m?? How much is Benteke worth if we compare to Lukaku? £50m? It's absolutely not just about the World Cup - don't get suckered in by that. unfortunately when its the transfer window following a world cup if you have a world cup your price goes through the roof have a bad one and nobody wants you if he goes we use the money and get a good experienced player to partner okore
  20. Those three aren't the benchmark for his replacement unless we're happy with going backwards. If Okore can't come back from a season out injured and fill the Vlaar sized hole that would be left or if we can't buy someone as good as him who will hit the ground running then we'll be doing well to match the last two (very poor) seasons defensively. There isn't a lot of room for backwards movement between what we've been doing and relegation unfortunately so selling him would have to be for a massive fee IMHO. anything over 12mill for somebody with one year left.
  21. IIRC we did well for about 5 games where we went on a little unbeaten run and got a couple of wins but that was it. Every game since then where he's been absent we've lost almost every time. He missed 11 league games through injury in his first season here and 6 last season. Results without him: 12/13 Played 11 W2 D2 L7 Scored 8 Conceded 22 Clean Sheets 2 13/14 Played 6 W0 D1 L5 Scored 2 Conceded 11 Clean Sheets 0 Yeah... fair point but as long as he is replaced by somebody better then clark herd and baker
  22. http://mobile.avfc.co.uk/default.aspx?s=news-display&aid=4043018
  23. If he wants to go let him. He's had a good world cup would make sense for us to sell him for around 10million Not worth a massive pay rise and he can be replaced Plus 2 season ago we did well for a few games without him until we got **** by Chelsea
  24. I'm sure they are posted out depending on what block you sit in
