Let us not forget why we "harrassed" him. He came to us from the Small Heath board and called us merely "the men of the terraces". He turned EC winners into a relegated team in 5 years and ignored the best team we have had during the last century during his time at the club because he was not at the helm when they were at their peak. We are a poor side. We badly need points like this in order to avoid the drop, so im pretty happy today. Hopefully sneak a point at QPR and then beat Wigan.

Basically, the team that played against Everton? fair enough. I Want Bannan in the team without a shadow of a doubt but not as an AMC. I think he drops too deep to play the role and you could see Bents anger that none of the midfield were close enough to him. I would also love to see Ireland given a go. Truth be told, we have all these Central midfielders and I honestly dont know who the right choice is. I share your hatred towards Petrov and I also think he slows down everything we do but who do you play instead? Gardner? Im not sure throwing the kid in just yet is the right choice. Our central midfield is a lottery. God knows who to pick.

Great news he's injured. We might actually see a player in the AMC role now that actually knows how to pass and dribble rather than one who just wins headers and helps defensively. Regardless of what anyone says, I hate seeing this player on the team sheet as the bloke is utter toss. Step forward Bannan/Ireland/Jenas.
