Ings / Watkins thing not working. Both playing fairly poorly

If we can get ahead here, I think we can nullify them. They seem to be getting in behind our press a little easily. Watkins Ings partnership not really clicked yet has it. Maybe Buendia for one of them as a deeper forward?

The only fixture I hate more than this is when they play us at Villa Park. Im confident we’ll play well but we won’t win. We just don’t beat this lot.

The circumstances are different because of the pandemic. I don't think the club need to worry about buying international players most of the time.

Remi Garde aside, I’m struggling to think of many worse we’ve had in my lifetime. How he manages a PL team is beyond me. Man is a complete joke.

He wishes he made the bench.

He was excellent last night but it will count for nothing if he can't get fit and stop getting injured. If he wasn't injured, he'd likely start against United too in place of McGinn (concussion) so he's really missed an opportunity here. I don't even know what injuries he has. It's like Davies. Every-time he gets fit and plays, he picks up a different injury?

A lot of people were focusing on the miss, I wasn't. Sometimes you have to look at HOW he gets into that position in the first place and exactly what he tried to do. His first and second touch to get into a position where he could shoot were sublime. It wasn't an easy ball to control and the ability to bring it under control and then have the wherewith-all to try and chip the keeper on his weaker foot is really, really superb at his age. He is a very good little player, I just hope he gets the game time to really push on. I think he'd absolutely smash it up at a championship club and could see him perhaps spending time on loan in the second half of the season. Another talented lad we've brought through.

He’s gone up a level this season. He’s stronger, fitter and you can see he feels he really belongs at this level. Has the opportunity to be our right back for the next 5 years if he continues at this level and improving at the rate he is.

He’s played his way into the side with that performance. I’m not his biggest fan but if you play like that, you keep your place in my book. I really hope we switch back to a 4-3-3 so we can see the best from the likes of Traore, Buendia and Bailey.

Ability aside, you can’t help but love Nakamba. His attitude since day 1 has been spot on and he always does his best when called upon. He never shirks his responsibility and always wants the ball. He also keeps himself extremely fit which is not always easy to do when you’re in and out of the side. He’s a fantastic squad player and even if he is moved on in the Summer, he’ll go down as a very likeable player who’s been lucky enough to don the claret and blue.

One thing I will say is, I genuinely don’t know why Nakamba is taking a penalty.

Great effort. How we’ve not managed to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this year is a mystery. We’ve been the better side in both games. Some great performances out there tonight. God knows what our best XI is!

How good are some of our youngsters! Thought Carney was excellent when he came on.

Sigh. I agree with you. And that hurts The goal against Brentford aside, dare I say he’s looked…poor? I’m sure he’ll come good but he seems to give the ball away a lot.

We’ve really looked good. Anyone else noticed how much better we are when we don’t have the ball this season? We just seem more organised with the press and a lot fitter. Sanson was actually looking good before he went off. Tuanzebe, Traore and Cash also impressed. I really do like a 4-3-3 formation. We get to see more of our wingers!

Really unlikeable character. A shout out to how ugly he is as well. I don’t think it’s fair to mention looks but on this occasion, I will, because he’s horrible to look at. He’s what Mo Syzlak would call ‘Pug Fugly’

What is the collective for a large number of Chukwuemeka's? A murder of Chukwuemeka's? A gaggle? A parliament of Chukwuemekai?
