  1. Romano saying we’re talking to the player but no bid. I still think Marseilles will ask for too much. Sanson might be key to the deal.
  2. Can I ask what a leopard does?! Long range missiles? I’m a bit of a noob when it comes to war!
  3. Collomosse backing it now. This looks to be on, or at least we’re trying to make it work.
  4. Poland are absolutely desperate to get involved as much as possible it seems. Of all the European countries, would it be fair to say they’re Ukraine’s closest Allie? I suppose Geography plays an important role in that.
  5. He probably won’t make it here. I bet 999/1000 kids we bring through the academy don’t go on to make it as a regular PL footballer. Of the current crop to come through, I have hopes Kessler, Irroegbunam and A. Ramsey kick on and make it here but even that’s a stretch. It’s really difficult to make it as a PL footballer. Everybody says we have an amazing academy and youth team. We really don’t. I’m sure it’s good, but you look at some of the players Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal bring through, it’s streets apart. If you ask any fan in the country if they have a good youth set up, they’ll all say yes and point to the next couple of world beaters that are going to set the world alight. Rarely happens. If at all.
  6. I really wasn’t that impressed with him at Bournemouth. Not sure he’s near the quality we need to properly progress. Bring in Guendouzi and uefolueD and I think that’s a solid window.
  7. Depends what system. In a 442, Ramsey, Kamara, Guendouzi, McGinn In a 4-3-3. Kamara, Luiz, Guendouzi.
  8. Doesn’t it just. Man, I’m a happy chappy.
  9. Looks like there’s legs in this one. I think this would be a fantastic signing. Saying that, I also thought that about Buendia, Bailey and Coutinho!
  10. Maybe, maybe not. I don’t think they let him go for less than £30m though. Either way, he’s a good option. I’d be surprised if he wasn’t better than Luiz. Those three in central midfield is very good either way.
  11. He’s arguably their best player and he’s a 23yr old French International. They aren’t going to give him away! Maybe they can have Sanson back in return.
  12. Worth noting he’s probably going to cost a small fortune. £35m+
  13. He has a bit of bite too. I think him and Kamara would be excellent as the two, and Luiz in there if we play a 3. Regardless of who plays, you have real options.
  14. Danjuma looks to be off this window. Anyone know anything about him?
  15. Guendouzi was MOTM in that game regardless of the result. He was excellent. I think this would be a great signing tbh. Probably the link I’ve liked the most in this window. FWIW, I think he’s coming here to play CM (if it happens) and I still think we’ll sign another wide player/forward.
  16. True, but Moreno was coming here way before he got injured. Moreno is here to replace Digne in the starting XI.
  17. Wolves are in for Alex Scott from Bristol City. Little bit jealous of that. Probably because he reminds me of Grealish and I have PTSD.
  18. I’ve always been impressed. The year we lost and he won the penalty, he was excellent. It may annoy a few on here, but he might well be better than Luiz…
  19. Chelsea are interested apparently. Honestly, anything over £30m and we need to accept and re-invest. He's a decent player, but he's very limited. The fact that Ashley Young has been much better this season tells you all you need to know.
  20. Frustrating, isn’t it. Id be shocked if Digne, Coutinho and Ings didn’t see out their contracts here. I wouldn’t be going anywhere if I were them. I’ve said it a million times before, but our transfer policy isn’t very good. In fact, I don’t think we’re a very well run club when it comes to the footballing side of things. We’re not terrible, just not very good!
  21. He’ll be relegated to a substitute by the time this season is out. And he certainly won’t be anywhere near the XI by the time we start next season. Not unless he massively improves - which I’m not sure he will because I don’t actually think it’s linked to effort/desire. I think he’s actually really trying, I just don’t think he has the pace and ability at this level to play the way he wants to play. Anyway, it will be really interesting to see how it plays out because he won’t want to be on the bench and his father will get involved. Trouble is, nobody is going to give us close to what we paid for him. Grabs popcorn.
