Good act by Paul Lambert to keep Stan on as club captain. When he recovers would love to see him in some sort of ambassadors role at the club.

Anything PL does will be better than the shit endured last season.

To play some decent attacking football, more than 4 home wins and to not go to any of the top teams with the only thought in my head " how many will we lose by ". IMO easily achievable with PL in charge.

I think Makoun's a quality player and would work well with Herd and Ireland in the middle. I think for the starting lineup 1 quality winger, new fullbacks and a centre back is whats required to push the european places.

To actually get excited about going to Villa Park again. Even against lower opposition last season you knew it was going to be a struggle. Every game I went thinking " we've got no chance ". If we can play some exciting football again that would be fantastic but the main thing is going to Villa Park expecting a win.

Yes Wiz but when Lambert does "shaft" us that will be because he's done a fantastic job here and will move to a bigger club which you wouldn't say he hasn't deserved. He had back back to back promotions with you and because of that landed himself a job at an established premier league club. I didn't like it when we lost young, milner and barry but I couldn't hold it against them as they played well for us and earned their moves. At the end of the day footballs just a big food chain.
