Pirlo was bloody fantastic, we really needed someone man marking him for this game. I would have been tempted to put Theo out wide with Milner staying close to Pirlo all game but no manager in he world would have the balls to drop rooney.

Absolutely spot on. Rooney's been shite and in a game like this you need someone with Milners energy in the middle when you take into consideration Gerrards age and Parkers recent injuries.

Agree with the above on DB9, doesn't matter how big the fee was when it saves us from relegation. Barry would be number 1 though when you take into account fee paid, fee received, games played and quality of the performance in those games.

I got ticket's for the quarter final at Wembley, although they haven't come yet. I think Beckham should be in the squad for reason's stated above. I don't reckon we got a chance in hell after seeing some of the player's the other nation's are bringing. Do spain usually take a strong squad?
