  1. I just hope Burnley don't play their usual brand of anti-football. If they do decide to venture out of their own penalty box, it's gonna be rough for them. Otherwise, I hope we're able to pick the locks and actually put a chance or two in the onion bag this time.
  2. Bucs pass rush has looked 100% legit the past few weeks.
  3. Ah, great news. I guess they're tested every week, so fair enough.
  4. Medical in France first and then he'll need to quarantine for 10 days (I think) once he gets to the UK. Realistically, we're looking at him being available, but not necessarily ready, around the Brighton or Leicester games. We don't really need him right now anyway, so no worries!
  5. It's just hit me how the Championship Games were: Young QB vs. Young QB Old QB vs. Old QB Meaning the Super Bowl will be Generation vs. Generation
  6. I have enough recurring nightmares of this man performing on-field miracles...
  7. Two reasons. The first being how much of a constant pain in the arse he's been to my Dallas Cowboys over the years. The second, being I think he's pretty smug. Steve Carell looking MotherFlipper.
  8. Let's go Brady! I also want Rodgers sacked as many times as possible.
  9. I hear what you're saying, but you're in Perth, Australia and I'm in Cardiff, Wales... we both have time-zone issues, but we both have the same internet to research this stuff. What it looks like you're trying to say is you're a casual viewer and enjoy watching the big names, rather than being an actual supporter of those teams. Nothing wrong with that! I casually watch a number of sports. Looks like the guys were only messing with you anyway.
  10. International football fans (and, to be fair, quite a few UK folks) tend to follow the big teams or star players, such as Liverpool (Scouserpool)/Man Utd because they have a history of winning. Your original post echoed this because you've jumped off the Patriots ship and onto the ship of the reigning champions. Sticking to one team is a far better ride!
  11. Sad for Brees. Statistically the 2nd greatest QB of all time, won a Super-Bowl, and STILL doesn't ever get a mention in 'Top all-time QBs' conversations. Perhaps he'll receive it in retirement... if he does retire this time.
  12. I'd love it if the Browns pulled it off. Them or Tampa because it would be satisfying to see Brady get another ring without any credit going to Belichick. Anyone but Green Bay though, really.
  13. Made it to the Villa-Bowl (VT-Bowl?)! Indication enough of a great season, I reckon.
  14. As if further proof was needed of the post-draft gradings being complete nonsense, the teams who ended up 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in our league this season had post-draft predicted finishes of 8th, 14th, and 10th respectively...
  15. I'd 2nd the addition of an IR spot or two.
  16. Cheers. Back to back VT championships! Close final though, @LancsVillan Looking forward to next season with, no doubt (and rightfully so), heavily stringent joining criteria...
  17. I think it has the potential to be a close one!
  18. Was projected for 88 points at one point in the game... It's to be expected though, the actual NFL teams/players don't give a damn about fantasy football. Gotta protect Brady.
