  1. It's a shame (for me) they took him out of the game at half time...
  2. Should have been way closer. My players totally overachieved this week. The Steelers have fallen off the proverbial cliff the past few weeks. Any given Sunday though, man. Any given Sunday.
  3. Only just seen this. Will do. Nice one.
  4. Most of my points came in garbage time. Wasn't expecting that. If I do win, I really did luck out.
  5. haha, I wouldn't worry just yet. Everyone else is playing awful.
  6. Exactly. It's an utter nonsense and doesn't (because it can't) take into account injuries, not just from your roster, but the rosters of opponent teams.
  7. The report cards always make me laugh. They're never an accurate reflection of who does well and who doesn't. Playoffs should definitely have been as you describe. Don't understand why they weren't. Weird. This fantasy season is a bit like the 'Grand National that never was'... for anyone of a sufficient vintage to remember it.
  8. Cheers, Hornso. Here's hoping we get to do it again next year. Good luck for the semi finals, guys.
  9. On the plus side for you, Carolina should be good for a high score this week. Denver haven't a snowflake's hope in hell.
  10. Miami, who've been great lately, couldn't get it done against lame-ass Denver. Cost me a £125, that. On the plus side, DALLAS back on track for the Super Bowl
  11. I've opted to play without a kicker the past two weeks as a result of this (not having an IR spot). Probably should be implemented next season.
  12. Also happy to Commish (as I am on a few Yahoo leagues), but generally just happy to still be in the league because it's usually ace. Hope @kkr reconsiders, but reckon the peeps who've volunteers would do a great job too. Would be a shame to lose the league history. Now let's try to see this season out in peace...
  13. I haven't put in for any of them. Watch somebody take one or two though. We should probably list them here so we can keep track over the coming weeks. EDIT: I've gone through it and, if we're leaving them, these are the non-selectable players: QB - Lamar Jackson RB - Dalvin Cook RB - Jonathan Taylor RB - Joshua Kelley WR - Keelan Cole WR - Laviksa Shenault WR - Diontae Johnson WR - DK Metcalf TE - Dallas Goedert K - Daniel Carlson DEF - Pittsburgh
  14. I don't think we can agree to leave them because keeping track of who they are could cause further arguments. Also, what if 'Fred' (who doesn't appear to be active on these boards and therefore won't see us agree to leave them) suddenly starts playing and snaps them all up? Just my two cents. EDIT: Looking at it, about three worthwhile players have been made available... so whatever
  15. These COVID games are throwing a spanner in the works. The Kansas/NE game better be played Monday or Tuesday or I'm screwed.
  16. I think so. They won't be playing the game any time soon. Week 4 will work as a bye for both teams, but since the Titans/Steelers don't have the same bye week, they'll have to shuffle their fixtures around... as well as other teams' fixtures later in the season. Week 4 WILL be their bye week (they won't get their scheduled ones) Basically, it's gonna be a logistical mess and we'll all just have to just play our hand as it's dealt.
  17. To clarify, I'm also not in favour of removing Team DEF. It's the classic way to play the game.
  18. The rosters can be set up with a defensive PLAYER (or position specific DEF player), rather than a whole Team DEF. So, like, you could set it to ANY DEF player and we can pick whoever, or, say set it to 'Line Backer' and then everyone has to pick this specific position. Team DEF is the classic setting though.
  19. I've enjoyed this league the past nine years I've been in it, so sad to think of it ending, especially like this. Hopefully a commish transfer can happen. I already commish a few leagues, but if anyone wants a background co-commish, I'm more than happy to help out. If not, I'm totally down to play anyway. Cheers for keeping it going all this time, @kkr
  20. ATL were so mesmerised by the slow spin they didn't think to jump on it. Smart mind games from Greg 'The Leg'
