Let's not forget this isn't a manager who's 'on the up' and it has 'always been their ambition to manage a giant Euro club' because he's already been there, done that with Arsenal and PSG - the former outright disrespected him and the latter didn't appreciate him. Great working relationship with our owners, fans, players, and staff (which he's just finished putting together). Maybe, down the line, he might fancy another shot at the Champions Legaue but, as it stands, he's got a better chance of winning it with us than he does with Manchester Utd... and that's not even a joke. He has it all at Villa. He wants staff, he gets staff. He wants players, we do what we can (within the rules). He wants to sleep at the training ground, we'll build him a place to stay at BMH. Billionaire owners, appreciated by all, extremely ambitious project. What's not to love? There's no way he gives that up to wallow in the Man Utd cesspit. Forget about this. Let's move on.

Cash is a really good player. He's fast, he scores goals, our defensive record is solid with him as an ever present... so there's not much to dislike about him. I'm also convinced, if he was a southern European/South American player, with the same level of ability, this conversation wouldn't be happening. I don't believe, especially at right back, the ceiling is too much higher, so having a Digne/Moreno level of competition would be sufficient. What he really needs is another international calibre player to come in, challenge, and rotate with him. It'll also help him develop as a player. This said, if Unai reckons somebody else can add an extra 1%, he'll go get the extra 1%.

Yeah, it's really frustrating. I think most people who've played fantasty football for a bunch of seasons has had a season like that. Fantasy can be a cruel beast.

The 3rd goal was poetic justice, given Luton didn't fancy coming at us. It was like "Well, if you don't want us to score this way, we'll go ahead and score this way instead" before launching it forward. Brilliant.

I mean, they looked class, but they just weren't very nice to wear. The material was like sandpaper (my only real issue with them).

Bloody hope not. The Nike shirts we used to have were proper itchy. Probably because they were made from recycled plastic bottles.

Hopefully they see this message and can start actively managing their team. I'm sure other people would like to take up the spot next season, if they're not bothered. On a personal level, I'm sure we all hope everything is alright with them!

Tell you what, if they're lucky with injuries (or don't use games to rest players), the 49ers could go undefeated. They're by far the most impressive team I've seen this year. And, given who I support, it pains me to say this.
