    I mean, in fairness, it is mostly luck. Good ol' calculated luck (I failed to make the playoffs in two other leagues I'm in, including a last place finish in one of them!)

    I get this. Who could possibly forget, in January 2009, when we spured the chance to sign Falcao (because we wouldn't fork out £5m) from River Plate and, instead, opted to sign Heskey from Wigan for £3m... However, I've never been more secure in the knowledge we have the best people in the right places. I've never felt so trusting of our ownership and recruitment staff (Unai included). We'll do what we need to do, within the rules we're bound by. We're in good hands; arguably the best in the league.

    Really poor refereeing there. Not sure I've ever seen so much shirt pulling going unpunished. Frustrating day. Don't think we did a lot wrong, other than a lack of urgency at the end.

    I've said it before and i'll say it again, I'd much rather we brought in the right players than literally any players to fill the gaps. Sometimes going out and buying five players in January can be fun for us as fans, but it can also de-stablise a squad. Not always, but it can. I feel it's a case of seeing if any business can be done with the targets we have (in terms of price/availability/contract status in the summer) and, if not, we attack the loan market in the final week as plug-ins for the next six months. Again, with the loans, Unai will want a certain level of proven quality - perhaps those not in the plans at their parent club (perhaps because a new manager came in and they don't fit the tactical style), but who are also not sellable because of their contract status.

    I actually like the shoulder stripes, but if they did the side of shirt stripes instead (and perhaps even the old 'Trefoil' logo), I'd be more than okay with it. They just always get the sizing right and that's the main thing.

    I don't care who it is, as long as they're true to size and not skin tight. Adidas seem to be the only manufacturer who get it right in this respect, sadly, but apparently we're not allowed them.

    I'm happy it's not only happening to me. They need to sort it out. I currently have eight 16 year olds in the under 18s wanting to leave because I didn't register them for the Champions League.

    I get it literally every single registration window and have done for several versions now. It's so annoying. It's often young players I've purchased for the youth set-up, rather than the yearly academy intake. They're on youth contracts too (and squad status), so I can't figure out what's going on. I think the programmers have just overlooked something.

    Neymar's moved to Brentford on my save... (he moved there in season 2!) Also, I really wish they'd sort out the problem where, after every registration window, you get about eight 16 year olds with no prior 1st team experience, complaining about not being registered for European competition. It's so unrealistic. Also, does anybody know if you can still get experienced 1st team players to take youngsters under their wing? I don't seem to be able to find the option anymore.

    Good season, all. Happy (and a little bit surprised) to regain the title. Thanks, @Tubby, for putting together the final rankings and to everybody else for the kind words. There wasn't much to be voted on ahead of next season, but we'll probably look at it at some point after the real NFL draft. Thanks, again, for taking part and making this a relatively stress-free couple of months

    Mine won't even do that. Gives me literally 2 seconds of footage and then cuts out with an error message. No matter what device or internet connection I use. Has been that way for a few years and Sky don't know what the issue is.

    Sluggish on Boxing Day seems to be the thing in recent times. Was the same the past two years. Not sure what the players were thinking after we went behind because they were knocking it about at the back as if we were 5-0 up. Need to do away with Christmas leave from now on, methinks On a serious note, ref was dreadful so I'm not sure why anybody is giving him a positive score. Also, and I think this might be my first criticism of Unai, the subs were far too late. Some of the guys looked out on their feet. Hopefully just a blip and we can take it out on Burnley.

    Quite a few injuries/suspensions tonight, so fair enough. About 14-15 months ago, their goal would have killed us off. Showed grit to make sure we continued our home undefeated streak. Annoying, but look at where we are!
