    I feel sorry for the fans of Bolton and QPR.. One of those teams is going down and yet Villa the team that is somehow safe is the one that deserves it. Bolton and QPR have actually gone out time and time again and tried to win games, that's why they are in the position they are in. We have played the most gutless, spineless and boring football in the league and are safe. I am a die hard Villa fan but I just cannot find our staying up fair..

    Pass on the message that he's not good enough for Villa. Thanks. We've got McLeish right now.. Beggars cannot be choosers, if Poyet wants to come here then we should accept him. He's better than McLeish by a considerable margin.

    To be honest there is no doubt we'll offer him enough salary wise given we are paying McLeish more than he ever got at Chelsea, but I doubt we'll be able to offer him a transfer budget big enough. AVB will be wanting at least £30 million a season, wage budget may not be as important as he'll buy from the Continent but he needs that upfront cash which he may not get.

    I like that green shirt actually.. I hope it comes out looking like that as I always did feel left out when I saw other clubs doing mental things with their away kit. Now I do agree that the home kit should stay as traditional as possible, but the away kit in my opinion should be as mad as possible.

    I think the only thing concerning me about Lambert is that we need players from Europe to come in. Now I don't know all that much about Lambert's buying history, but if he's just going to be buying English players then we may as well go crawling back to O'Neill.

    Could have broken his leg.. You even see his leg **** bend in a very unnatural way. That was a red.. I've seen reds given for far less.

    Judging by McLeish's reactions in that half he won't be saying much at half-time, he is very much a manager that knows he is gone and no longer cares about this club. It may actually benefit us that McLeish probably won't say much..

    Apparently Gabby has bruised ribs and couldn't train this week.. Is he seriously that much of a pussy? Anyone that has had bruised ribs knows how mild the pain really is, it's nothing like the pain of broken ribs and yet you can still play football through that.. Gabby is a joke.

    Gabby couldn't be bothered to get out of bed this morning.. I doubt he's injured. I hope Weimann doesn't let this affect his confidence, he is on the bench yet Heskey starts and Ireland is being played as roaming striker..

    It depends how QPR and Bolton react to the pressure as relegation looms closer. They will either get stronger or bottle it..

    I think it is between us and West Brom to get Di Canio's signature if we do go for him. If we go for him I hope we get him as I feel if West Brom got him they would just go from strength to strength.

    I can see Macron growing in prestige over the next few years the more they work out deals with big clubs. Right now they are seen as a producer for the lower league clubs, but they now have the likes of Napoli, Lazio and Villa on their books.. It's a nice start.

    I wasn't too far from there on that night.. Had I known it was going down I'd have helped the bouncers out and been much more heavy handed than they were. Those three are a disgrace they really are.. If we weren't in the shit as a club I'd suggest all three get dropped from the first team for our remaining games but we just can't afford it luckily for them.

    Well so far it's looking like Tottenham will smash us.. So if Bolton do lose making us safe and we get smashed McLeish could be gone by this Sunday. I do think Lerner is just waiting until we are safe..

    Disappointing yes, but if this cloud has any kind of silver lining it's that if he does stay and this is the quality of player he is after then I'm impressed.
