Has anyone actually considered the fact that he's meeting with Røkke to merely clear the air given he'll hardly be able to do this once he joins our club, not without a complete media circus following it at least. If they settle their differences now they can get on with doing what they are supposed to be doing, not to mention Røkke won't get in the way if he hears from Solskjær himself that he wants to leave if the offer comes in.. So far Røkke just has Molde FK's word to go on and so far they have shown themselves to be less than professional over the last 5 days.

Could have been a case that they gave in to the fans over that and weren't going to do it a second time in one managerial hunt. Though like you say it's just a theory, we'll never know what they really do regarding fan response around times like this.

I do think Villa have researchers that will be scanning the major forums and other media. I recall when it was suggested we were seriously looking into Steve McLaren last season and within hours almost of complete fan uproar on the forums the club officially acknowledged he was no longer a target.. Now I doubt McLaren turned us down, I think it was a case of the fans have spoken..

He's in the mix for the Chelsea job according to the BBC. In the same article there is a video interview which states there is no time scale for them to find their new boss.. If they aren't in a hurry and we are looking to wrap this up by the end of this week then Di Matteo is out of the running for Villa by default.

Molde really couldn't win could they? If they didn't give OGS that clause he probably wouldn't have signed for them, they give it to him and he signs for us a year later.. Tough break for a club that small.

Yes and from what I've seen is them having most of the possession and making some nice attacks, they lack the clinical finish but from what I've seen they've done the most with the ball.

Seems to be a very typical away side struggling to break down the confident home side.. Molde had had the more creative attacking spells which is promising. Sandnes Ulf remind me a bit of Villa right now with all their hoofball play..

Molde's build up play is very good.. Sandnes Ulf tend to just boot it up the pitch and hope for the best, Molde have done a bit of that but the last 2-3 minutes it's been quick passing football.

In the 80s aHa, middle of 90s -> present day OSG I think that aHa actually might have been more popular in the rest of the world more than over here. aHa have had multiple breaks other bands and solo projects along the years but their farewell tour was a big deal. Any way in my world OSG is bigger, but anyone who makes it big outside our country is a huge star here and gets a lot of attention. Remember it is only five million of us. Satyricon are waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy bigger than both of them I'm more of a Darkthrone, Grimfist and Gorelord man, myself. That's it then! If OGS is appointed, we're coming out of the tunnel to "Transylvanian Hunger" rocking some corpse paint. Would scare the shit out of the opponents if done right aka not like Abbath from Immortal. That.. Would actually get me to buy a season ticket. I would first stand there laughing at all those thinking "what the ****?!" and then I would just start moshing with some random guy next to me.

I think most will after the Birmingham Mail posted that OGS wants to be our manager as soon as possible.

When OGS said he had turned down PL teams in the past, I could only think it must of been WBA. Probably turned down Wolves who would have been scouting for a new manager before the season ended.. I would imagine West Brom were turned down and possibly even Liverpool could have been turned down by him as recently as Thursday. For whatever reason he likes our club and that's great news.

It's funny but watching that video I see that he practices what he preaches. In that training video he says "edge of the area, shoot!" and so many of his goals are from the edge of the area. It's also exciting to think that Bent may have a striker that good as his manager.. Solskjaer was in a completely different league to a player like Bent, same style of player but Bent can learn a lot from OGS.
