    As good as he was before Covid, I genuinely thought he was going last summer because of how bad he was following the break, so he didn't really save us single handedly.

    Mahrez got PFA and Fans, Vardy got FWA and Players awards. To say Mahrez won the league for Leicester is massively underplaying the roles the rest of the team had. Also if Jack hadn't got injured, I reckon he would've won player of the year this season.

    There was a video on YouTube (I think Copa90?) that was a day in the life video with him, and he basically just hangs out near hotels where Agents and Directors meet and he knows some of them personally. Edit: It was Bleacher Report He seems much more reliable with top end teams though.

    Erasmus coming across as a massive arsehole now. It was funny at first when someone pointed out how he was clearly using a fake name on twitter to dispute decisions whilst publicly saying he had no complaints about the game, but the longer the week has gone on the more pathetic he's become, it's just turned in to a week long tantrum. Surely World Rugby have got to come down on him for this latest stunt? You can't be having DORs/Coaches releasing hour long videos criticising referee decisions.

    Stocked up on E's for the contract announcement tomorrow. In all seriousness though, is the club shop usually open that late? Bit weird if it isn't, I can only assume it means the away kit may be revealed tomorrow?

    Yet apparently that doesn't apply to us? Even though we've made signings to address our shortcomings and all Leeds have done is sign a LB to replace an outgoing one. Personally don't care about Leeds, but don't get why they're used as an example of a team that will definitely improve and finish above us, when until Grealish's injury, we were better than them.

    Never got why people seem so adverse to signing Hughes, seems like the perfect opportunity signing to me. 1 year left on his contract so likely available for sub £10m, done well in the Premier League before, regarded by Watford fans as one of their best midfielders, and likely happy to play a bench/rotation role for us, it just seems like the perfect depth signing that could allows us to spend big elsewhere.

    No they didn't, the full statement is below; The police in a statement mentioned a 31 year old man, but didn't make any reference to it being a footballer; It was the media that start spreading all the other details, so I don't really see what Everton could've really done without saying who the actual person was, which would've been illegal I believe.

What was he expecting Everton to do, they can't just name who it is whilst an investigation is going on and it was pretty obvious who it is given all the rumours from the day before and the incredibly narrow definition the media talked about that rules Delph out, unless he's deluded enough to think "regular international" applies to him (wouldn't surprise me). Literally all Everton did was put out a statement saying "a first team player has been suspended pending a police investigation", should they have put at the end "It's not Fabian Delph" just to keep him happy?

    I know it's pre season, but that's the sort of chance that makes me think Davis will never make it as at Premier League/Championship level
