Very sad news, but kind of expected with him being 95, which is pretty remarkable in itself. Went to SA 3 years ago, and visited Robben Island, and despite me only being 16 and not knowing an awful lot about Mandela, it sent chills down my spine and was truly inspiring. Just to think that he spent 27 years in prison for essentially fighting racism and he was totally cool with it, rejected the idea of any sort of revenge and ended up becoming President of that country. Sadly, I don't know as much about Mandela and his struggles as much as I should or would like, but I'm sure he will be one of those people who will be taught about in primary/high school history in hundreds of years from now. A truly amazing person and a sad loss.

Wait, people actually believe that the floating corners was Bannan's idea? Of course it's what Lambert was telling him to do it. Teams work on set-pieces in training all the time. We're still doing the floaty corner thing now. Lambert tells the team to do the same thing every corner. Float it to Benteke on back post. It's no wonder we never score from them. Annoyed the hell out of me when people were blaming Bannan for the shite floaty corners. It's so obviously management telling them to do it. I just thought Bannan was shite at corners, Westwood too.

To be fair to Bannan, that was a fantastic cross, albeit lucky he got the ball back after a dogshite corner As a side note with that corner, it was very low and almost the complete opposite to the types of corners he did for us, d'you reckon the looping, swinging corner is a Lambert thing rather than Bannan?

Still not been charged for mine and GAME are yet to respond to my email (other than an automated "thanks for contacting us" email), I was hoping I'd have it for the time I came home from Uni next week and really looking forward to playing ACIV almost as soon as I got back, but it's looking less likely by the day now

Got an email off of GAME saying to tell me to contact my bank to ensure the payment doesn't get blocked and that I'll be charged within the next 10 days. That was 9 days ago and I haven't been charged yet

How is saying Whittingham needed to drop down a division patronising him? It's true isn't it? Or is it patronising to compare him to Bannan? Edit: Somehow misread patronise as ridicule

I enjoyed the episode, but my main problem, what was the point in the Zygons? The whole trying to invade earth story line sort of got swept under the rug I thought and seemed to not actually matter, only to unite Doctor 10 and Doctor 11. Why bring back an enemy after 30 odd years to not actually do anything with them. I know the main plot was to do with the Time War and everything but it's not as if the Doctor has never had to deal with more than one enemy before, yet alone with 3 of them (or technically 13 ) I just feel that much of the episode was building up to a point that wasn't as satisfying as it should of been when they could have explored a more interesting side-story line with the Zygons and actually dealt with it.

Stats mean absolutely **** all in football! The only thing that matters is if the team scores more goals than the other team, and just because a player played in that game doesn't mean he affected it. Fair play to Bannan, he did well to score, he did something Darren Bent has made a career out of, be in the right place at the right time, doesn't mean he's good though. I'm still going to judge him on what he was like when I used to go to games and when I've watched live games on TV, a player who had the potential to be good but squandered it by never learning when to make the right pass and not making up for it off of the ball. No amount of pointless stats can change that. I hope he ends up at a Championship side where he can be the main player in the team, he's not good enough for the Premier League and needs to drop down a division a la Whittingham and Hogg.

The clubs haven't as far as I'm aware, it's the union that has stated the HC will remain. Makes it very interesting to see what happens now, with the French and Welsh clubs saying one thing and their respective unions another.

Got this player through my youth system in the first season, my aim is to have him break Charlie Aitken's appearances record, which I worked out if he plays until he's 36 he needs an average of 28 games per season. Introducing future Villa legend Oliver Lynch... and just 6 months later currently has 10 appearances, I'm looking forward to building a team around this guy!

I've not had too much bother holding on to him, but I'm only in March 14, he requested transfer in Jan but I only got one offer of £12m for him. i think not playing him and setting his asked for value as £30m helped though. Mitrovic at Anderlecht would be a good replacement, would set you back by roughly £10m in the second summer but he is only 18/19 at the start of the game so has plenty of time to pay off that price tag.

Currently on course for 5th in the first season with my own tactic, though that is due to some huge shuffling in the playing staff, so my team isn't quite Villa's starting squad.
