I already said this in the ratings thread, but here I go again. Without Elmo, we'd not have scored. He manhadled Norwich fella after Konsa was ready to surrender the ball to Norwich for a throw-in. The throw-in was awarded to us, and we scored from the ensuing play. No-one else in the team would have done that. Elmo is smart, I've said that many times. He also doesn't panic when everyone else does. He angries the opposition with his time wasting. Need I say, I like him a lot.

I'd definitely not start both Trez and AEG. Two up front would bring the best out of Wes, whatever that will be. Kodjia in for Trez.

That is why a player like Elmo is so important. Heaton and Jack obviously, Conor did what he does. BUT look what Elmo did before the goal. Konsa left the ball to Norwich already, but Elmo came in and threw Norwich player to the ground and took the ball. This is what started the attack to our goal, and what got Norwich bench so agitated.

Our play has no structure, no idea. It's only Jack. Just put Conor on for Trez and hope for a free-kick, again.

He's been in the right place twice to score. Yes, he's bottled them, but at least he's there. We have players nowhere near scoring positions, I'd take them off.
