Read it again, i did'nt say Baker should play in midfield

What are our latest accounts like Risso, and whats the projected wages to turnover ratio for the next accounts.

Better performance, but did'nt really do anything.Had a chance to play Benteke in on goal, failed to do it i'm afraid.Thats him in a nutshell. Hes an average player and an honest player, but lets be realistic,, hes not good enough.

Not mobile enough for midfield. When Okores is fit next season, as long as he returns to form, he will play alongside Vlaar , and eventually imho, Baker.Delph and Sylla will be the holding midfielders, Clark is'nt good enough to displace any of them.

He can't keep gambling on players.We are Aston Villa, we should'nt only keep buying players who MIGHT turn into good players. He has done a good job imho so far, but the next step is 2 or 3 players with proven quality, otherwise we will be in a continuing relegation battle year in year out.

Bring him in, move Weimann behind CB, play Gabby and Tonev wide....we have'nt got a great choice atm, but i think its time to give Tonev a run and have a look at him.

Would'nt mind a Rosicky in our team CL.

Told ya. Gabby has'nt developed as aplayer the last 2 years.He does'nt score enough, he does'nt create enough chance, and if he is on £60k per week like rumoured, hes not worth it. There was moment in todays game when Townsend got the ball inside Villas area, he run at Luna went past him, and put a shot just over the bar.One minute later Gabby gets the ball inside Spuds penalty area, looks up, and plays the ball back 30 yards.Thats the difference.Gabby has'nt done it, and is not going to, Weimann is still young, Gabby is 26.An impact sub at best for me.

Give him time, but would have preferred a good attacking midfielder for the money.

We missed KEA when he went off today. Not a big fan of Westwood tbh, not sure why everyone rates him so highly.A decent sideways pass, does'nt cover runs, gets caught out of position, not strong enough.For me behind Delph, KEA, Sylla and probably GG.Needs replacing asap

I thought we played well against Chelsk as well last season Isa. I am still uncertain about PL tbh.Benteke has been a superb signing, and i really like Bacuna, Sylla, and Okore.Luna and Vlaar look solid, but i think he is far too loyal to players like Weswood and Lowton last year.Kozak was a poor signing, as he is not what we needed.I said in the summer i would have got Remy on loan and bought Tom Ince to replace/compete with Gabby and Weimann, and i think we could have used Kozaks money more wisely. But we are not far off a reasonable team, a couple of cute signings/loans. we are easily top 8, and apart from Townsend, i was'nt overly impressed with Spuds tbh.

Hernandez from Ure? A good no 10, and at least one attacking inside forward to put pressure on Gabby/Weimann. The Ukranian guy might be worth a go if we can afford him, looked very good against England

What i would say, is i was 23 at the time, and felt i had'nt had enough good times with my dad.As someone said earlier, make the most of your time with him, and tell him how much you love him, and how important he has been to your life. My Dad was an intelligent man, knew the dangers of smoking, but made that choice, i don't think he had any regrets.All my memories of my Dad are happy memories, and hopefully you will have such good memories of your Dad as well maqroll.Make some more good memories, best wishes.

Alongside Hoddle you played Roberts, alongside Cowans you played Bremner, alongside Zidane you played Deschamps.Sylla is our "water carrier", and hes good at it, we need to find the footballer to play alongside him.

Much as i hope that Lowton gets to be as good as some on here seem to think he will be, i can't see it myself. Bacuna is everything i like in a FB.Hes quick, he covers well, hes not bad on the ball, and more importantly he defends well.Lowton is not a good defender, hes ok at going forward, but nothing special.If you drop KEA, you will miss his energy, and harrassment of the opposition.The main reason why we beat Arse, Citeh, and played so well against Chelsk, was KEA, and Delphs energy, and closing down.I would'nt drop either to accomodate Lowton. For me you play your better players in their best positions.

Trouble with Lowton at RB, is that he's not that good a defender.Hes not quick enough, and he does'nt anticipate danger enough. he is too often caught on his heels.Got a good cross on him though, maybe a RM.

I expect that from a midfielder Oaks, from an attacker i would have expected 2/3 goals from each Gabby and Weimann, and 2/3 assists. When towards the end of the season , they was all getting goals, i had visions of Gray-Little-Deehan, i really hope thet get to that level, but i'm not convinced.I thought 3/4 years ago that Gabby would be Englands CF, but for me he has'nt developed.As i say, i hope i'm wrong, i really like Weimann as well, but yday was dire.

Gabby and Weimann 1 lge goal this year.That's good enough? I hope i'm wrong, but Gabby and Weimann should have scored yday, keep playing to the standard of yday, and we will waste Bentekes legacy,Yday , you could argue was the 1st Villa team post-Benteke, and it was completely unispiring, we was playing Hull, and what did Gabby and Weimann do? Gabby might have a good game occasionaly, and bar Dalian Atkinson , is the most frustrating player i have see down VP.He has it all but does'nt do enough, whats his goal scoring record, 1 in 4?

Imho neither Gabby or Weimann are good enough.Don't score enough goals. don't create enough. I said i would have tried to get Remy on loan in the summer, hopefully N'Zog comes back as he was in his Wigan days, and Tonev develops, but neither Gabby or Weimann will advance us.

I think the system that PL is playing is having 2 sitting midfielders, who help the defence, and the 3rd midfielder, plus Gabby and Weimann are supposed to provide the assists, and score.We actually look better when Delph breaks from deep, draws a player out, and then bursts into that space.For me, thats when Gabby , Weimann, Westwood and Kozak, should be making themselves more available.A couple of times in the 2nd half, Delph done that, but , on one occassion he shot, when he should have played Tonev in, and the other, Gabby gave the ball away too cheapley. I'm quite happy with Delph, and Kea, and Syllas contributions, its Westwood, Gabby and Weimann who have got to do much better imho

Played 20 mins, tried to make too much of an impact, but no worse than Gabby or Weimann. Think he will be ok tbh, is very positive, has a bit of pace, seems to me to be putting too much pressure on himself.Will be ok after he gets a couple of good games behind him.

I think you are a bit harsh on Delph Isa. For me Delph is a good midfielder, who should be playing alongside a more creative midfielder, alongside Sylla or KEA.It was Westwood who is supposed to be the more creative player, delph is the Mikel kind of player , if you like.I think he has a lot more in his locker, at moments he does show real quality, but , where i do agre with you Isa, is probably not enough,But he is getting better, and i do feel his confidence is getting back to pre-injury levels.

For me , for us to develop we need a more potent threat from the wide players.We have CB up front, and we need the 2 players, Gabby and Weimann to be more creative, and score more goals than these two do. I said at the time that Remy would have been a good loan signing, and if we had the money , we should have gone for Sturridge, Odemwinger , would'nt have been the worst signing either. Gabby disappoints me more than Weimann, Weimann generally looks like scoring, Gabby does'nt, and he always laughs after missing good chances, neither beat their man enough either. I think Weimann will be alright, but i'll be disappointed if he is a regular 1st teamer in 12/24 months time.
