@limpid I have a weird issue that I can only recreate on an iPhone using Safari. When signing in and I go to a thread to make a new post, I have to go to the first page of the thread first, before going to the last page to write my post. If I go straight to the last page after signing in, the text box isn’t available, and neither is the option to quote a post. (It’s almost as if it hasn’t signed me in properly unless I go to the first page first). to confirm (and I am guessing it is the same on all devices) when signing in I am always returned to the homepage.

Where is our Tyrone? Why hasn’t he signed for us yet?

I think the media are determined for us to create a team full of Aston Villa fans. However, he always looks dangerous. Whether he can do it in the prem or not... not so sure. I really like the look of Phillips from Leeds. And Alioski.

We have Elmo and Guilbert, so doubt we’d be signing another RB. I don’t think Deano likes to have a defence made up of players who all play in the same position...

Lolley would be a proper passion player signing, which is something we might need next season. Just look at the way he played against us over the two games. Imagine what he would do actually playing for us in the prem. He can play central and up top, guessing he can play on the flanks as well, so would be great to have in the squad. Heard Bowens name mentioned loads after January, but went a bit quiet again. Don’t know too much about his stats either. I’d have to go for Lolley out of the two, because of what I have seen this season, but, would never turn my nose up to having a quality Villa man in the team!

@limpid Issue with intrusive adverts on safari using an iphone Limpid. Taking over the screen so having to close and reopen. Had to give up and test on Android (chrome browser), not had the issue so far whilst writing this. Clearing the cache on safari had no impact.

My play-off final day started 2hrs ago, poorly baby with sickness and diarrhoea. The extra sucky thing is, I think my wife and I both have it as well because we both feel nauseous. Maybe it’s nerves... gonna be a long day!!

Yea see this is what is annoying at the moment. We don’t need these sorts of favours to get us promoted, and nor should Derby. Both teams are where they are on merit, and this media speculation and talk of curses and that other stuff being mentioned is just making a mockery of the whole thing. Both teams are playing some good stuff, with great young talent in their teams and being coached by forward thinking managers/coaches. Shame there are a number of sources out there who just want to derail everything.

That was the record outbound transfer from league 2 to the championship, record inbound is £1.5m, when Kasper Schmichael joined Notts County. Going to be a very long time until a league 2 team spends much more than 2m, let alone spend 5m.

Leeds play the way they do because their keeper sweeps the way that he does... derby have exploited that twice now with balls that are right on the border of whether he should go out or not. It’s one of those that looks really bad when it doesn’t work, but it’s something they do to allow them to be effective.
