  1. I think it's time to tune into talksport now guys..
  2. 1) He's 23 pushing 24 years of age.. 2) hmm 9 goals in 23 games for Kidderminster ... Okay then 3) Hottest prospects of what? Huddersfield? the joys..
  3. I'm sorry but no Why are people mentioning Joe Lolley? he's record is dismal at championship level 7 goals in 50 games for Huddersfield is very poor. He should be no where near our squad
  4. I think that we could attract McCormack or Marshall they won't be going up anytime soon with their respective clubs
  5. Some decent players in that line up, i would be disappointed if we didn't attempt to sign any of those players. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11688/10243950/ian-holloway-picks-his-championship-team-of-the-season
  6. I would keep him, he knows how big this club is having come from Crewe, he cares about the club and would be good for the dressing room. He would be a good solid player in the Championship.
  7. It's a shame that he has ruled himself out of the running but he would be a strong choice.
  8. The reality is that if we change the majority of our squad we will be even weaker than what we are now. There is no chance that we would get promoted if we rebuild the majority of our squad for the season ahead. Keep the core, remove the bad eggs and support the team with some new players.
  9. Bruce won't be at Hull next season they have lost their momentum for promotion
  10. Although I am angry at our players i somewhat believe that we need to keep hold onto a lot of our squad if we are to come back up straightaway. We have premiership players in our squad despite them not performing at the required standard. I would keep these players because they would be too strong for most of the teams in that league; Goalkeepers Steer Bunn Defenders Amavi Clark Okore Cissokho Hutton Midfielders Gana Sinclair Sanchez Westwood Gardner Lyden Grealish Traore Strikers Gestede Ayew Kozak Coupled with a few quality championship players to help our squad with the extra games and know how, i genuinely believe that we would have too much quality for the majority of teams in that league.
  11. 100% agree I think he would be a success if joined us, only problem is he may end up arriving late and he may not have enough time to asses the squad and prepare us for the season ahead
  12. lool wow no **** given.. I really hope he gets sold in the summer.. Even the security guard is wondering why he is there..
  13. Same formula that got us finishing in the top 6
  14. why does this matter? Surely the new manager would bring his own backroom staff in?
  15. I am enjoying the level of desire and work rate sunderland are displaying right now.
  16. Brighton look so good this season, i would love to see villa play with a similar style next season. Surely Chris Houghton must be one of the managers on the list, he has never finished outside the top 6 in the Championship he needs to be heavily considered. Him, Moyes Pearson and i would be happy.
  17. My biggest worry is that we wont get anyone in before the summer. Bernstein however, did say that 'We've got to get a bit of a move on' so i presume that the board are aware of how important this is.. If Sunderland win today we may get to see some movement at the club in the following week.
  18. we dont want the young lad on the pitch when we get relegated. I think its to protect him
  19. Zach Clough will not be of any use to us
  20. Would love to get Patrick Bamford in on loan next season
  21. Why do you think Rowett is a popular choice amongst our fans?
  22. David Moyes would be a top appointment however i do feel that there are managers that can certainly make us strong for next season and become a success. i.e Houghton, Mick McCarthy & Pearson I also do not understand why the new manager has to be a nice guy is this essential or not? Surely we want a manager that can take us back up by any means necessary at the first attempt?
  23. i've only listed one promising player, i'm sure that there are plenty of players in the championship that want to be part of the rebuilding process
  24. As it looks certain that we will be getting relegated as early as next weekend i guess its time to look to the future with a pinch of optimism. I'm actually looking forward to the Championship with the thought that we will rebuild and have a new ethos amongst our playing and coaching staff. There are some wonderful gems and established talent and grafters in the lower leagues that we will make us proud of our team before and after matchday. Below I'm going to list some players that i would be happy to see playing for us next season. Chris Martin - Striker (Derby County) - He knows the league inside out, very good goalscorer one of the most consistent strikers in that league Alan Judge- Centre Midfielder (Brentford) - Probably one of the best players in the league, he gives everything, can attack and defend. He has 10 assist and 14 goals this season, amazing stats for a midfielder and he has the talent to play in the premier league . Johann Gudmundsson Winger (Charlton)- This Icelandic left winger is what we need if we are going to play with a big man (Gestede) next season , his accuracy from the wing is top notch, he can play on either side, and for a side that looks destined for league one he has 10 assist this season. Dominic Iorfa - He could certainly fix our right back problem i would go as for as saying that he is potentially better than Micah Richards in that position, he is tipped for a bright future. I would also love to see a player like Scott Brown in our team, great leader, all action, no nonsense and has energy across the park. What players would you like to see at Villa park next season?
