  1. I hate Parcelfarce. My item is out for delivery today, but I'm in the office as their crappy tracking site said that the item hadn't been collected (fro Google) yet. Argh.
  2. whaaa? You getting yours tomorrow too? It's hard to tell with Parcelfarce, but I'm guessing mine will be on Tuesday.
  3. I'm not going to tell you what mine is like as you haven't asked me. This might not be true.
  4. I suspect like mine that when you track it, it hasn't been collected by parcelfarce yet. It'll probably be collected on Monday and delivered Tuesday.
  5. Your ratings and reactions please. Keep it respectful even if you know everyone else is wrong.

    badBIOS

You can't flash the BIOS from Linux or OpenBSD without being prompted for root permissions. If they were logged in as root then it's hard to feel any sympathy.
  7. My black 16GB N5 ha been prepped for dispatch. As it's parcelfarce I wonder which random will get my phone.
  8. I've just spent another £300 on mine yesterday. Google will know that it's not your real name and what your real name is. But you know that. I don't see the point in pretending it's anonymous. If you want to be anonymous, don't use Google. As you know it's not anonymous, you might has well have an protected account that you use for purchases, even if you use disposable accounts for other things. Being a techie, I'd bet that your browser returns an almost unique fingerprint so I'd guess that your next disposable account is linked with your previous one the first time you browse to a page with analytics on it.
  9. I'm not sure how disposable card numbers help. If you buy an app, a track, a film, a tablet from Google Play, that purchase is linked to the account, not the card. How is your account then disposable? Surely it's better to have an account that you use for your purchases, which you protect strongly, than run the risk of losing access to.purchases or returns. I can understand having additional disposable accounts, but it makes sense to have a main account which you protect as strongly as the tools allow you to
  10. It's nice being able to choose from a range of phones with different sizes and features isn't it?
  11. So your denying yourself additional security for no reason? I can't imagine my Google account being disposable. I guess you don't use yours for purchases.
  12. They've got mine for the two-factor authentication. Don't use a Google account without it.
  13. I've just (this morning) activated all 3000ish of my colleagues on Google+.
  14. Dunning-Kruger effect. The true meaning of "X-factor".
  15. You might want to check in with this lot: http://www.northwestvilla.com/
  16. Does the Christian dogma include mention of a singularity? I don't think someone can be described as "devout" if they don't believe in the literal truth of Genesis. I bet he also doesn't believe that slavery or killing cheeky children is moral. He is suffering from cognitive dissonance, probably brought on my childhood indoctrination. Anyway, this thread isn't for religious discussion.
  17. We changed software over a year ago...
  18. It was't a single point. There weren't any dimensions with which to define it's size. It was an entire universe of energy.
  19. I honestly thought that VMWare workstation was free now. I'd still pick VirtualBox if VMWare was free.
  20. What's a telegram? Is that like an invoice for all the bandwidth I've had to pay for?
