mykeyb
Maybe the Comers (if the deal is still on the table that is) wants to be sure that Aston Villa FC will not get relegated before the takeover? Maybe (if) we'll reach the "magic" (see how low I´ve sunk...) 40 points we will see some action from the Comers? Whilst not being a fan of this current takeover bid we certainly need something to happen at our club before it goes into terminal decline. Why pay £64 million for the club now when in 3 months time it might be worth much less (hopefully not tho) The only risk they run is that someone might sneek in and pinch it
ianrobo1
or alternativly mykeyb as I have stated before why pay £64m now when if you suspect Ellis has less than 6 months you could complete a much lower deal ??? remmeber the chances are that Neville has more idea of how ill Doug is more than we do .... he has met him and probably members of the club who may be telling him the truth about Ellis's condition. Silent_Bob
Is it a deadline for when the takeover approach has to be concluded, one way or the other? LSE must have some rules regarding this?
Gringo
LSE does have rules and regulations to govern real takeovers. They have not however legislated for fairy tales.
