I dont have the full statistics but what a year. If my maths is correct we have won 30 games, broke some impressive records and put ourselves back among the elite and in pole position for a Champions League spot

i dont have solely 2023 in review, but this also covers 2023.

Records in 2023:

• 26 wins in a calendar year - club record (prev. record was 24).
• 15 home game wins in a row - club record.
• in 2023, played 42 PL games, 26 wins, 7 draws, 9 losses, avg. PPG 2.02.

Best value season ticket in England. Chris Heck for Mayor. Well done Unai and players. A genuinely incredible feat . Every time a rival team lose to us and then say we are riding high and arent that good i just point them to the calendar year table . We have done this 2 points plus per game for 13 months now . Astonishing

It has been simply the best year in my lifetime to be a Villa fan, by some distance as well. Even if it all goes sour, we have to remember he gave us this year.

This year has been better than the entire decade preceding it combined, in feel at the very least. Wouldn't be surprised if the numbers are close too.

2022's list before Unai was something like Norwich (x2), Southampton, Everton (x2), Leeds... and that's it. What a turnaround of a year. Quite remarkable.

In a slightly pleasing coincidence, having just looked, the number of league victories from 2021 and 2022 combined is also 26 (15 + 11).

I believe that’s out of a combined 78 games.

Incredible year. The best in my 40 years as a supporter. Results amazing. Performances amazing. Some great goals. More importantly we have a team full of professional players who act in the right way and make me proud to support them. To top it all off we have a gentleman at the helm insisting upon continuous improvement. What a time to be alive
