Guys, this is nothing really weird at all. People make out like this is some weird Gerrard quirk and that it's our only issue. It goes much deeper than that and I'd go as far to say that there might be several reasons for not appointing him, but this is hardly it lol It's like you guys have a wingback trauma memory thanks to Steven.
