TRO Posted May 16, 2022 Share Posted May 16, 2022 If there is any doubts about the value of Intensity, work rate and physicality......It was all on show tonight......From a team intent on taking the game to Arsenal and smothering them. Arsenal was completely out muscled and for all their technical superiority, they was reduced to chasing shadows. It kills me to say it, but this rejuvenated Newcastle side are a joy to watch.....They dominated the ball tonight, and blew Arsenal away....their application, was mind blowing. Arsenal simply had no answer to them...... We in contrast, let teams play, and then cling to the theory they are better than us.....This display from Newcastle supports, the notion, with the right appliction, anything can be achieved. We supposed to be on the beach according to some folk......so why are Newcastle, not on the beach. They were playing some dire stuff start of the season and now Newcastle look a pretty competent and technical team, similar to what Bournemouth looked like under Howe so that's what an actual coach putting hours on the training pitch instead of the Golf course can actually do. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
