It's funny how difficult propaganda can be at times these days.

A few days ago The Eurasian Times which publishes a lot of Russian propaganda ran a story about a failed mass Storm Shadow attack launched by Ukraine.

Claims all 8 missiles were shot down by Russia who had learned lessons and knew how to intercept them and render them ineffective.

This unequivocally shows that as utter bollocks and clear Propaganda. They've now mastered the missile that today destroyed their Fleet Headquarters? Yeah, sure boys, there is video evidence out there of these missiles slamming into one of the highest grade military target's they could aim at.

This war has been a strategic disaster for the Russian Navy.

Their 3 main navy bases in Europe are -

St Petersburg.  Now only accessible by navigating a narrow approach that now has a NATO country on both sides.  Anything getting through that channel faces the Baltic Sea surrounded by NATO on all sides before trying to escape into the North Sea via the narrow passages through the Danish islands.

Sevastopol.   Boom.

Murmansk.  The home of the northern fleet this base is supplied by 1 railway and 1 road that are just over the Finnish border.  The rail line and road pass through hundred of miles of thick forests, lakes and mountains.  Its perfect terrain for the Finns.  Supply by sea  is severely limited in the winter due to ice. After the Ukraine war the entire border will need to be fortified by Russia.

This is also the line that brings Russian nuclear weapons down south for potential launch. Finland joining NATO, has made that scenario so much more difficult for the Russians.

It's difficult to believe Russia doesn't have retribution attacks planned in response to the Sevastopol naval base strike but I'm slightly surprised nothing out of the ordinary has been reported yet. Hopefully that speaks to their lack of credible options.

A lot of the missile attacks with Kaliber missiles would have been coordinated from there. Something that isn’t as widely reported is that the Ukrainians completely took out the location of the backup fleet HQ a few days earlier. So not only will they have lost a good number of HQ staff they’ve lost their contingency HQ too

its not easy to recover from that

True. In previous "statement" attacks by Ukraine, Russia has usually launched mass missile attacks in retaliation. Not this time it seems.

Russia has a limited stock. I think they are stockpiling them to make large attacks on the power grid during the winter. That will be their retribution

So apparently Ukrainian special ops are in Sudan taking out Russian (wagner) troops and RSF groups. Go on Ukraine. I'd love for you to hunt down all these war criminals wherever they are.

I find that hard to believe. Surely their special forces will be engaged far closer to home.

Do remember that Israel did exactly the same thing to the nazis around the globe when they were fighting against pretty much all their neighbours after WW2.

These SOF are likely small teams operating under the foreign intelligence office. They've likely judged that stopping Russia in Africa is a good idea as Putin is getting rich on African gold and diamonds.

Ukraine?  Possibly.

But there are plenty of other countries that have reason to undertake this operation.

Regardless of who did it...........well done chaps!

The Russian Army has proven that if you have an enemy surrounded on 3 sides and have better weapons with a longer range and a bigger army, richer economy and bigger country that its perfectly possible to keep some of your naval fleet intact and minimise attacks in your capital city at the cost of 200,000 dead troops and 50% or your total military capacity.

Good job.

Whoever sent in the videos have Ukrainian language in their drone GUI though, but that could just be Ukrainian drone manufacture.

Either way, well done ridding the world of more Wagner.
