Tables

AFC

1. Broncos: 10-2

-

2. Patriots: 9-3

--

3. Colts: 8-4

4. Bengals: 8-4

---

5. Chiefs: 9-3

6. Ravens: 6-6

===

7. Dolphins: 6-6

8. Titans: 5-7

9. Steelers: 5-7

10. Chargers: 5-7

11. Jets: 5-7

12. Raiders: 4-8

13. Browns: 4-8

14. Bills: 4-8

15. Jaguars: 3-9

16. Texans: 2-10

(no one in the AFC has clinched*, or been eliminated**)

NFC

1. Seahawks: 11-1 (clinched playoff berth)

-

2. Saints: 9-3

--

3. Lions: 7-5

4. Cowboys: 7-5

---

5. Panthers: 9-3

6. 49ers: 8-4

===

7. Eagles: 7-5

8. Cardinals: 7-5

9. Bears: 6-6

10. Packers: 5-6-1

11. Giants: 5-7

12. Rams: 5-7

13. Vikings: 3-8-1

===

14. Bucs: 3-9 (eliminated)

15. Falcons: 3-9 (eliminated)

16. Redskins: 3-9 (eliminated)

*: the Broncos could still finish in a three-way tie with the Ravens and Dolphins. The presence of the Dolphins prevents the Broncos' win over the Ravens in the season opener from guaranteeing a finish ahead of the Ravens, and the Broncos have not clinched at least a second place finish in that group of three.

**: the Texans could still beat out the Ravens and Dolphins in a three-way tie for the last wildcard.

Scenarios

AFC

Broncos

Clinch playoff berth with any of:

* Win/tie

* Dolphins loss/tie

* Ravens loss/tie

(basically: they need at least as good a result as either the Ravens or Dolphins achieve)

Chiefs

Clinch playoff berth with any of:

* Win & Dolphins loss/tie

* Win & Ravens loss/tie

* Tie & Dolphins loss

* Tie & Ravens loss

(basically: they need a better result than one of the Ravens and Dolphins)

Colts

Clinch AFC South with any of:

* Win

* Titans loss

* Tie & Titans tie

(basically: they need at least as good a result as the Titans get)

Patriots

Clinch AFC East with any of:

* Win & Dolphins loss/tie

* Tie & Dolphins loss

(basically: they need at least as good a result as the Dolphins get)

Clinch playoff berth with any of:

* Win & Ravens loss/tie

* Tie & Ravens loss

(basically: they need at least as good a result as the Ravens get)

NFC

Seahawks (clinched playoff berth)

Clinched NFC West division and a bye with:

* Win/tie

Saints

Clinch playoff berth with any of:

* Win & Cardinals loss & Cowboys loss/tie & Eagles loss/tie (EXCEPT if the Eagles and Cowboys each tie)

* Win & Cardinals tie & 49ers loss & Cowboys loss/tie & Eagles loss/tie (EXCEPT if the Eagles and Cowboys each tie)

Panthers

Clinch playoff berth with:

* Win & Cardinals loss & 49ers loss & Cowboys loss/tie & Eagles loss/tie (EXCEPT if the Eagles and Cowboys each tie)

I have a feeling that there's a scenario where the Eagles and Cowboys each go undefeated with one tie each into their Week 17 game where if they also tie that game, the Cowboys win the NFC East and the Eagles take a wild card to keep the NFC South from getting a wildcard.

Personally I think we'll lose. Haven't been all that convincing for the last two weeks. We're gonna have to score at least 3 TDs to stand a chance and I'm not sure we will have that in us. Depends which Cam turns up.
