BOF Posted December 4, 2013 Moderator Share Posted December 4, 2013 I hope so. I'd like Derby back and I'd like to see McClaren do well. Gets a lot of stick.
The_Rev
When did McLaren's reign start? There was all that fuss about him doing the half time team talk when they were 1-4 down at home to Ipswich. They came back to draw 4-4. Since then: Win 3-1 vs Leeds Win 3-2 vs Watford Draw 1-1 vs Small Heath Lose 2-1 vs QPR Win 3-0 vs Sheffield Wednesday Win 1-0 vs Bournemouth Win 3-1 vs Wigan 16 points from 7 games. Winning against ten men tonight. Only defeat was away against the title favourites. It's great form.

villarule123 Posted December 4, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted December 4, 2013 10 in three and a half games against Norwich. That's getting into Robbie Fowler vs us territory. Shades of Deano vs Ipswich all those years ago? Wasn't Deano's on the edge of his own area though?
The_Rev
Nah, he was about as far out as Suarez was. I remember it vividly because it was on my birthday.
villarule123 Posted December 4, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted December 4, 2013 Deano's was better, there was no way on earth you'd expect him to shoot from there.

The_Rev
Since Man Utd beat Arsenal to get "back in" the title race they have drew, drew and lost. Arsenal have won, won and won. The three points they got back has been wiped out by a seven point swing since the game.
Davkaus
I quite enjoyed Linekar's comment "Moyes finally gets to see Everton win at Old Trafford". Still surprised by how will Everton are doing without him, I thought MArtinez was a terrible appointment, shows what I know.
