I read on another sight that Tulisa had only sold 7000 copies of her new album by midweek and that was after a pretty high profile on X-factor. Now putting aside the fact she is a chav and I cannot stand her music or the X-factor that figure still seemed incredibly low. Price and convenience will be the driving factor for films / tv series to not be pirated. Make them available quickly enough and cheaply enough through legal avenues and they will sell, charge the same price as it costs to buy in HMV or Sainsburys and Piratebay and their ilk will remain king. I wonder if Sony are happy winning the battle of Blu-ray v HD-DVD at such a high cost (they literally through billions at studios to ensure they signed up to bluray rather than the competition) and its entirely likely that digital streaming will be the winner.

Well watching the Gadget Show last night I was quite surprised how much of a bashing they gave the Iphone 5. For a show which has been pretty much labelled an Apple loving program it was criticised for the camera, the quality of calls, the build quality and the lack of innovation. Most enjoyable.

Popped into the CPW in Walsall on Saturday as my other half wanted a smaller phone as her Samsung Note is too big - only because she is getting an Iphone from work so just wanted something smaller for her personal calls and she ended up buying the Sony Xperia Tipo only because it was one of the few budget phones running Android 4.0. The amount which are still running 2. something is absurd. They had the Nexus 4 on display so had a bit of play with it and it didnt leave me in any rush to upgrade from the Gnex. Dont get me wrong I am sure its a great phone and at some point I will probably bite the bullet and upgrade but as the Gnex runs the same software and it looks pretty much identical from the front the 4 doesnt have that must have feeling to it.

I havenit watched since the episode when the daughter died / killed herself. Its just lost me completely, I want to like it I really do and at some point I will make the effort to watch it but I have zero enthusiasm for it at the moment

Well my wish was granted last night, thought it was a decent episode to boot. The next woman I need to get her top off is Gadget Show Polly............

Or buy a Data Sim from Ovivo Mobile for £10.00 and get 500mb of data free each month for doing nought, if you need more you can top up as and when but if you can cope with 500mb then its a great deal. I have a Samba sim as well and have built up over 1gig of credit but dont use the dongle anywhere near enough to run it down.

Managed to nab a Original Samsung Galaxy Nexus Charger / Holder (the one with the Pogopins) for £9.99 so will probably wait a month or two for the panic to die down on the Nexus 4 and have a good read as to what quality issues if any exist.

Will be interested to hear your views on your Pebble when you get it as I would imagine there will be plenty of developers waiting to get into it. The Pebble is the only one i think that you dont have to switch on / wake up to find out the time due to its e-ink display Dodgyknees if you want one for xmas I think your choice could be limited to a Sony Smartwatch or a Metawatch, Sonys are available on ebay for around the £30.00 mark which is too expensive way to try one out.

Difficult to see how you could answer Dubbs question without making some reference to Iphones as that would surely be his reference point - so wouldnt that be a comparison?

This would be my first port of call too. If you dont need one this side of Xmas I would hold off as there is the distinct chance that there will be some bargains to be had in the sales.

I have to admit I am a bit of a sucker for tech and watches so a Smart Watch bound to be of interested. I did used to own a Sony Liveview which was OK, the major flaw was that it had to be snapped out of the holder every time you needed to charge it and that was pretty much every day. I liked the look of the I'M Watch but the price tag was ridiculous and some user reviews have not been kind. The Pebble seemed a good alternative if they ever ship and they have missed 3 promised deadlines but the price seemed more reasonable. I tried to get a metawatch of ebay as there seems to be a bit of a developer community building but it went for more than you can buy them direct (as they have just gone live on the Metawatch website. So in the end I got a Sony Smartwatch of ebay for £20.00 and I have to say its a massive improvement on the Liveview. Seems to be plenty of apps in the store, battery lasts about a week and works really well to alert you of incoming calls when you phone is on silent in your pocket.

I was prepared to overlook some of its shortcomings but the fact that they let Carrie go off and bang the only asset they have and then at the end she yet again ignores direct orders after just about getting her job back was just ridiculous. Its about time Brodys missus got her top off again.

Have to say the gobby irish girl is just so bloody annoying, and not a team player. Being kept in for entertainment value alone as you could really see her telling Siralan how is running Amstrad all wrong.

Sorry I thought this was a forum for debate. He was a very high up member of the investigation team, involved from day one to its conclusion so I would suspect he would have a pretty good command of evidence that was collated. There are other thing he told me about the B6 which is not appropriate to discuss here which backs up his view point.
