Bought a Ainol Elf 2, had great reviews and wasnt that bad but my daughter managed to break the screen playing a game because she pushed too hard with her finger. She is 7. Still not repaired it and you can get the screens for £20.00 on ebay. Sometimes thing can be too cheap to be any good.

Lambert really had a huge task before he came in, bigger than I suspect even he thought as the quality we have lost since MON walked has been massive.

I have just had a good look at the spreadsheet someone posted a couple of days ago and there is an error on it for the 2010\11 season which has us as spending more than we spent that season which the figures dont add up because that season on the figure stated we sold more than we sold. I think you will find he is paid to manage the club. Its the scouts who are paid to find the players.

I think is a point being missed by many on here. yes he had £20 million but he was severely limited on his targets because of the new wage structure in place.

I think Lambert would like some experience brought in which is why he mentioned Parker and Lescott the other day.

But if he had to fit the new signings into a new pay structure Lambert did what he could. I have seen on here mention of wages being about 50 million so if the first team squad gets 80 percent of that then thats 40 million for 25 players. I am sure we can all do the maths on this

Mantis I chose 30 grand a week purely as a figure. If we have a squad of 25 first team players I doubt will we have anyone on anywhere near £50,000 a week if we stay in the premiership

The big issue is that under Lerner the number of players we have let go for no fees at all just to reduce the wage bill is ridiculous

Where did I claim that I knew anything. If Lerner wanted to cut wages then he won't want to start adding more players on big wages.

How about if Lambert was told we couldn't offer wages higher than £30,000 a week. Who could he sign with Premier experience

Well its been coming for the last 18 months. Awful owner with zero business sense that will cost us our Premiership status. I truly wonder how much the value of the club and his investment will drop the day we get relegated.

I hope that you are right but I have the feeling that Hairyhands is pretty much spot on with his posts. We have very little to spend and we are trying to get two players in when at the moment with what we have to spend and what we are being asked to pay means we cannot buy both.

There have been several posters who claimed we would have been worse off under Ellis than Lerner as under Ellis we would been relegated. As of a couple of posts up just look at the team we had last under Ellis and then compare it with the team that will take to the pitch tomorrow. The difference in ability is as bloody wide as the channel. Yes Lerner has spent millions but how on earth has he allowed so many players to leave the club with very little return. He is not a businessman and he certainly will never be successful in sports. However well intentioned he might have been he has been an absolute disaster for this club.

So Stephens + a CB would be the minimum that Lambert wants and more than the maximum Lerner is willing to buy. What was the name of the people that Ellis used to find a buyer for the club?

lerner should have a long chat with Graham Taylor about how to run a football club. I dont think he wants to put anymore money in and will gamble that there are 3 worse teams than us.

Well either Hairyhands or JulieB are incorrect. One says we have signed Stephens but not announced and the other is saying its a 100% non starter.

I watched Flight as Denzel normally does make to much crap and for 2/3rds of the film you are pretty much on his side but by the end I pretty much thought he deserves all he is going to get. Watched "The Impossible" last night, very good effects but didnt really care too much about the characters for some reason.
