  1. Keen to find out a bit more about plans for Amsterdam. Travelling without tickets. Apparently Brighton have their own area for ticket-less fans for Ajax but sceptical this will be put on for us given it's in Alkmaar - but also someone on Twitter said they won't show the game anywhere in Alkmaar. So stay in Amsterdam?
  2. Outrageous again. Needs a song urgently.
  3. I really like Torres but he's got lucky on quite a few occasions today with his passing.
  4. HAHAHAHA All 5ft 5 of that man lives in your head RENT FREE
  5. There are dozens of ways to cheat in a football game that are used constantly
  6. Dunno why people getting so aggy about Zaniolo there - it's actually quite clever. The rule is there to be taken advantage of tbh and we'd be silly not to use it when other teams are. But appreciate it is not very sporting.
  7. Can we just not? We're winning, we don't need to panic every single time we concede a goal
  8. Twice Diaby's been unselfish but surely he should be fancying himself 1v1 vs Zouma and earlier Aguerd?! Just run at them! Don't be over-ambitious
  9. I've worked in the sector for a long time (specifically anti match-fixing) and essentially being a rich footballer is a perfect storm for fuelling gambling addiction. Obviously you not only have a massive increase in access compared to back-in-the-day (can sign up in literally seconds), you also have a massive increase in social acceptance which stems from advertising. As a result, a lot of these younger players' mates from their youth will talk about betting very openly. However, being a rich footballer heightens the risk even further. You must be ultra-competitive to make it to the highest-level. Which personality is one of the most prone to gambling? Highly competitive people who think they can "beat" the house/others in the case of poker/exchanges. You then have the fact you have all this spare time and free cash, and potentially a lack of education on how to handle that. The amount invested into mitigating this risk is nowhere near what it should be. It should really be precedent across the world that if you can gamble on a competition, its participants must take part in an educational program to highlight the risks. You can't legislate for gambling in all cases of course, but such measures are definitely not standard for all competitions when they really should be.
  10. Guess we kind of knew already but: Guy said he told him that he's out there for rehab and will be back training around July. Good to see him smiling though!
  11. Haha. I could say a lot worse. Boils my piss, as you can see.
  12. No idea where to post this but is anyone going to Amsterdam for Alkmaar? If so, is there any discussion on where people will be watching? I've read that it won't be shown anywhere within Alkmaar itself, and obviously 950 tickets are well gone.
  13. It's an absolute disgrace that he picks Henderson It's an absolute disgrace that he plays Henderson and makes him captain It's an absolute disgrace that he then criticises fans for booing Henderson. He honestly winds me up so much. word removed.
  14. There's plenty of precedent here. He won't get banned for years unless there's absolutely rocket-fuel evidence - particularly in Italy. He'll finish the season with Villa I'd expect.
  15. The one good thing about being confined to streams every week because of Sky and BT's sh*** schedule is not having to listen to Peter Drury. Absolute try hard
  16. The goal genuinely wasn't his fault before people start piling in. The defender behind has to shout to him to make the challenge - he had plenty of cover if he got done.
  17. That is sh**e. Someone has to give Pau a shout that he has cover so he commits to trying to win the ball and the other player comes across if Pau gets done.
  18. I cannot express how much I hate Southgate
