    I either went to the game or we haven't played much on a Sunday at 16:30, but Peter Drury commentating on us makes me so irrationally angry. Just called Ramsey Watkins. Keeps shouting our player's names so over-the-top at every attempt. Just stop.

    Surely you haven't just compared us to Everton. We play attacking football, we leave gaps between midfield and defence and defence and Martinez. Everton set-up a low block to grind out a draw and didn't even succeed in that. Don't condescend my understanding of football when you are advocating playing backs-against-the-wall football as a sign of effort. Absolute rubbish! We need to be more resolute, but we play attacking football so are going to fall behind sometimes. Then we need to be resolute and play a low block? That what you're saying? COVID was before Emery and we nearly went down. We are currently fifth with a game in hand. What are you on about??? The atmosphere needs to improve. It could take us to an even higher level. I don't even get what you're trying to say. It's just a suggested improvement.

    What evidence exactly? The only real evidence you could really provide is running stats. Some podcaster saying "where's the PASSION" is not evidence. It's just outcome bias in my eyes because we're conceding. Yeah, midfield lost their runners on the break because their decision-making might have been poor and Chelsea broke through the lines with the press, but it's not because "we're not competing". Maybe out-thought sure. Regardless, the players respond better to a good atmosphere. I'm sure we can all agree on that They're not robots.

    I didn't mention City for a reason and Liverpool is not what it's cracked up to be, but it's still better than us unless we're winning imo.

    How are we in 2024 and still people are saying it's ok to have a shit atmosphere because other clubs have it. It's also not completely true. United, Liverpool, Newcastle, even Arsenal nowadays are all way better than us at home when they aren't winning. Way better.

    We're not not competing though. It's just absolute nonsense that the players aren't trying as hard as earlier in the season because we're in bad form. But support does indeed help us and intimidate the opposition. Presumably you believe in the concept of home advantage and understand where it comes from.

    It's our first meaningful cup game in nearly a decade under the lights. If people can't get up for a sold-out FA Cup game against decent opposition then they ain't getting up for anything.

    Gonna get slated for this but fans were utterly sh** last night. We were still in the game for a long period. Can't complain about costs when tickets are £20. Just don't get how absolutely flat it was. Do think the tannoy blasting hardly helps and the very unauthentic pre-game build-up really irks, but it's really annoying when we just can't seem to muster any real energy as fans when we concede a goal or even two. It happens in football but you can turn it around. It's only consolidated our slow starts recently imo. Happy to be told "the players need to get us to sing" but I'll never agree with you.

    Yes. I was also paying attention to the six months before that and the six months before that. Have you seen Sheffield United this season? I just don't get the mindset. We have better players, a better manager, we are quicker, technically better and far better drilled than Sheffield United. There's no comparison. I'm sure that's what Unai will be saying to the players as well.

    Would rather drop one of Carlos or Lenglet for Cash. Actually think I would go Konsa-Lenglet for balance/Lenglet was better v Everton.
