  1. Yes, well aware of this today. Now they can't get through Bakhmut they've pushed North into the outskirts of Soledar rather easier. Ukraine really need to hold this northern region of Bakhmut and the salt mines which act as the perfect network in which to conduct operations and protect troops. The other thing about Soledar is it's being defended by one Ukrainian battalion compared to Bakhmut which has several battalions defending it. Soledar could be far worse for the Russians if they push too quickly into the area as they can get caught by a rear guard action. That makes any retreat very difficult should the situation become untenable. If Ukrainians are purposely letting them move forward into this area then the shit show could get far worse for Russia. I am sceptical about this though.
  2. I agree with the rest of your post but I'm not sure about this. What is a win? If Ukraine exits tomorrow or several months, years down the line, will Ukrainians see it as a win. I think they will. I think they will celebrate/commemorate this period as a win against political dictatorship, the influence of Russian rule and a fresh start for their Nation. Without doubt the deaths of thousands will never be recoverable or forgotten but Cities just like after WW2 can be rebuilt and a nation can become stronger economically.
  3. And I'm not suggest you are. Not for a second. I'm just responding to my personal posts and the information I'm informing on. It's not just yourself that has mentioned this either in relation to the info posted, so I'm not just directing this at you. However, if posters feel the info is skewed towards positive info for Ukraine and produces an imbalanced view then those posters an do their own research and provide a more balanced view as they see it. At the end of the day we're all just trying to inform on the truths of what is going on. If you look back at the start of the thread I'm sure most of the posts were reporting on Russian advances, the destruction and death of Ukrainians and Ukraine. Very pro Russian from a Russian advance point of view. It couldn't have been any different because that was the situation. Ukraine was on the brink and Russian forces were nearly in Kyiv. Due to Russian logistical incompetence the situation over the following months right up until now has very much been about Ukrainian advances in recovering land. It's not like Russia have really advanced in several months so there will be limited info on Russian gains because there aren't many. In short the situation in Luhansk has stalled with minimal movement backwards and forwards from both sides, Russians have flooded the P66 highway border from Kreminna up to Svatove but are not advancing currently. Bhakmut is destroyed but Russia are struggling too advance, maybe metres today, and give them back tomorrow. They've also been trying to encircle the City but to no avail. Kherson as everybody knows is very much mainly under Ukrainian control left of the Dnipro with Russians on the right shelling the City. The Zaphorizhzhia region hasn't really changed in 5 months although there is a softening of Russian logistics and defensive positions which may indicate a potential push to Melitopol for Ukraine. This is how I'm seeing things from both standpoints and whats happening on the ground, everything else is just noise.
  4. I don't know anybody hoping Russia prevails in this conflict. Absolutely nobody. Certainly not in this thread and certainly not amongst family or friends. So then you either support the Ukrainian resistance or remain neutral, I'm most definitely not neutral. The other point to make is whether you feel the info people post is skewed or not it still tells you the situation on the ground. No one is going to lie about Russian advances or loses as the news is easy enough to find. As far as Ukrainian loses are concerned, well there is very little info out there. I cant speak for everybody but I think all those contributing are trying to posts facts or opinions. If it seems one sided more often than not it is because the other side are full of shit so nothing is worth posting, unless for laughs at the idiocy. Personally I admit, I will not glorify Russia or Russian propaganda. If that makes what I post imbalanced to some, I'm cool with that.
  5. I'm really glad at this quote because it has been abundantly clear since JG left we are very lopsided in attack out wide, with the left severely weakened.
  6. 1.5m new taking full mobilisation numbers to well over 2m. It still wont be enough Or one AK to every 5 troops. They've done it before.
  7. Yeah, just noticed in the match thread. Thanks though, much appreciated.
  8. Question... Does anyone know the cut off date for claiming a free ticket for ST Holders v Stevenage? Has it passed? Thanks in advance as I can't find any info on the website.
  9. Missed your input these last few months. Good to hear from you
  10. My football hero alongside Zico. So good to watch. I think Morley was severely underrated.
  11. I wasn't discussing anything, I just made an opinion regarding the focal point of my empathy, you was discussing my opinion. I'm telling you it's irrelevant, your saying it is relevant when discussing a Russians perspective. I'm not though, I'm only pointing out mine. I love everybody though. Okay comrade! Even the brainwashed, immoral, murdering Russians invading Ukraine who I hope get turned to fertiliser in a Ukrainian field before they can kill anyone. I feel sorrow for them too and will shed a tear and save it in a vial too commemorate this moment in years to come. This way we can save the argument about how bad I am, or how ignorant that I'm not seeing things through Russian eyes, and that I should feel sorrow for poor old Ivan who's now fighting for God and the Holy Russian Emperor Putler
  12. But I haven't, so it's irrelevant when giving my opinion. Especially over what I see as a moral issue. But I think in any language, religion or culture to kill someone who isn't directly trying to kill you would be deemed as immoral. Unless someone is directly attacking you then there is no need for aggression. Even Russian's understand this, especially the older generation who lived on stories of being invaded and attacked. The only thing Ukraine attacked Russian was the corrupt pro Russian political system presiding over the Ukrainian Government like a vampire.
  13. So did the Nazi's in the 1930's and look what that led to. There are international borders for a reason. The idea that Ukraine were going to attack Russia is utter nonsense even via NATO, and anyone that believes it is beyond compassion imo. That's just my personal opinion. If both sides were defensive and not offensive, both would be sitting at the borders now staring at each other. Thousands would be still alive and the destruction of one nation wouldn't have happened. It's not rocket science, even for the less fortunate.
  14. I'm kind of becoming apathetic towards Russian's in a similar way to how apathetic they've become regarding the destruction of Ukraine and it's population. Of course feeling empathy to some but there are though a large number that re either pro destruction of Ukraine or passive as to the actions of the Kremlin. In this day and age anyone on the planet that thinks it is normal or okay to kill, maim or destroy other humans for any means other than self defence does not deserve empathy or compassion imo.
  15. Yeah, I've always thought the next major offensive from Ukraine would be towards Melitopol to free Zaphorizhiahia and Kherson regions. It's also the area of least resistance and potential weak point for Russia, who are concentrated on the Donbass. It's like Russia cant stand the thought of losing they are willing to sacrifice everything on one area and lose thousands upon thousands to achieve something that will eventually get taken back, even if they achieve a little gain now. It's a monumental f*** up by Russia, and very much ego driven now.
  16. Definitely a build up of Russian troops along the P66 from Kremina up to Svatove
  17. I with a few others though Ings was the better option against a Wolves team that played with a much deeper backline than the sides we've played recently. Space behind was scarce and with that in mind Ings should've started.
  18. What use is a tank that goes backwards ffs. On a serious note. They'll probably be using muskets in 6 months.
  19. Lets be honest... footballers are dumb twits. Live by the emoji, die by the emoji
  20. Not all the time it wasn't, although movement was dire for the most part. From the Holte End you could see several occasions when there was an outball wide and both CBs decided to check back and slow the tempo. Mings played a stupid ball inside in the first half to Luiz I think when there was a better option out to Digne. Giving possession needlessly away.
