Absolutely chuffed to bits if this one comes off. Could never ever see it happening. Already had a few people saying on my Facebook 'bit pricey' but is it heck. Look at the market nowadays, you pay and you get. He is a goalscorer and a proven one in the English League so it's not like we're splashing a £30M inexperienced in the Premiership Shevchenko. I wouldn't worry about the money at all. If Randy is willing to give Houllier the cash for 1 player he obviously isn't as low as we thought. Not quite counting my chickens yet but I can't help it. I'm **** buzzing. -

Seeing as this threads still looking a little gloomy I'd just like to throw a quick positive. I'm glad he's not messing around regarding getting new players in, we've got 1 in and already confirmed official interest in another 2. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing but it's nice to know who we're actually interested in. With MON he denied or avoided every single player we got linked with AFAIK. I know the players might not be up to scratch or who we particularly want but remember our current position. If we can build on that I'm sure Houllier would attract better quality in the summer and thereafter.
