  1. it's actually difficult to blame the players. we have no shape and no tempo and that is Houlliers doing.
  2. I think Gabby and himself might have a promising partnership ahead of them. Fonz comes deep, good skill and touch, works himself into space and either plays in Gabby or plays it wide
  3. Delph was undoubtedly one of the worst players on the pitch. Can't blame him obviously, but he was totally absent and gifted them possession on countless occasions
  4. Really? When you said this in the other thread. Don't know why your so shocked. Surely 'shock horror' denotes sarcasm
  5. How many chances did we create? Very few. I'm sorry, but in a game as open as that, with an extra man for 70 mins, we were piss poor. 26. The answers in the question. Of course actually putting one or two of the **** into the back of the net would help a fair bit. yeah apologies, you're right mate, we had 26 chances in that match. (?) Spurs deserved to win, no question. Soaked up our pressure no problem, good on the counter. These kind of 'positive silver lining' reactions to the really poor stuff we're being served up week after week are contributing to the growing sentiment of us being a small-time feeder club.

  7. This is the first time i'v genuinely longed for MON back since he **** us over. and im ashamed.
  8. and i'll tell them the truth - because everyone else are stupid suckers kids! 8)
  9. To be fair I agree with a lot of the anti-xmas sentiments, though my gripes are more to do with the fact that it is entirely a cynical commercial enterprise. When I start a family of my own I fully intend to do 'xmas day' after the 25th, and buy everything for half the price. Xmas is literally a license to print money, our money, for large business. Im not a Christian so why not have it a day or two afterward? However, Im not about to moan about the fact that my family are occasionally quite boring... just have a few drinks and get involved!

  11. I got the long-sleeved away shirt with Agbonlahor 11 on the back. Contender for one of my fav shirts of all time. Plus my dad got me a Holte end sign which is **** badass. I'd also rather smell of BO than lynx, unfortunate considering I now have about 10 cans of the stuff.
  12. Sorry guys, I appreciate that the song did a lot of good. Note that this discussion is occuring in the 'things that piss you off that shouldn't' thread. But 'a world of dreaded fear'? C'mon... who does that help.
  13. +1 Also, has anyone actually listened to the lyrics of 'do they know its xmas' by band aid? On the continent of Africa: And it's a world of dreaded fear Where the only water flowing is a bitter sting of tears And the christmas bells that ring there are the clanging chimes of doom Well tonight thank God it's them instead of you And there won't be snow in Africa this christmas time The greatest gift they'll get this year is life Where nothing ever grows No rain or rivers flow Do they know it's christmas time at all? What a load of patronising shite! This song is a disgrace, and my anger is intensified when you get all these sanctamonius c*nts singing along as if they are somehow being good, generous, empathic people. **** OFF.
  14. the ending of It's A Wonderful Life. (its xmas alright)
  15. The fact of the matter is, none of us have watched him train and seen his attitude at Bodymoor. I would be more than happy to keep him a while and give him more of a chance, but ultimately if he doesn't want to be here and is moaning like a little spoilt bitch, then he can fock the fock off.
  16. did you not do mental arithmetic at school?
  17. My band are playing at Academy 3 on Thursday, if anyone fancies it. If it sweetens the deal, there will be lots of attractive female students in the crowd. http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/pages/Casino-Zone/69847304642
  18. Watched 24hr Party People for the first time last night, really enjoyable stuff. La Haine, if it hasn't been mentioned, is a fantastic french film about urban life. It formed the basis for 'kidulthood', which obviously was shit. but la haine is quality.
  19. +1. Unfortunately the majority of UK citizens view 'drugs' as a moral issue and feel that they are intrinsically evil. To quote Dale of King of the Hill - I blame the media-blamers.
