Steve Bruce took over after what was about the worst start we could have made.He has stablised results to a degree (2pts per game) that would be promotion form if we had started that way.The football has been patchy to say the least, but results have been good. Bruce and everyone knows we have to balance the squad (box to box midfielder needed pronto), but to say this is the worst we've played in years is wrong. We may have to wait a little till we're playing beautiful football again but we have a great chance to get into the playoffs and I'm sure we would have taken that at the start of the season.The situation was never going to change just like that it needs time,we've got the right people in charge now and the futures bright. As a fan whose first game was Feb 1966 I couldn't agree more with the above post. At last we seem to have an owner who feels the same as the fans and has the wherewithall to do something about it. Maybe just maybe we are about to start enjoying supporting our great club again and the good times will return and in my lifetime too. Heres hoping....

I was at Norwich on Tuesday and we kept getting Grealish,Amavi & Kodjia in a small area on the left wing leaving no outlet inside for the attack. Time after time passing it between them going nowhere we eventually lost it leaving a big hole in the left back area which Norwich players exposed. No-one covers his position & no-one gives a passing option for tha attack inside. Kodjia simply has to play more centrally to give a balance to the attack. Agbonlahor just adds nothing and we have to play a mobile link in midfield. Jedinak is great at his job but we have to get a runner next to him ( Tishbola is all i can come up with presently). This position is crucial to the balance of the whole team and must be addressed in January. No.1 Priority over everything else.

He also looked our best attacking option at Norwich which i know isnt saying much

Possibly people have forgotten that our previos manager decided to play him at fullback on his debut against Newcastle behind Bacuna,well that was going to work wasnt it?. Since then I think hes been decent. Hes only played 4 or 5 times, give the guy a break, he could give us a real option up front

Yesterday for the first time ever i was forced to leave after the Wolves goal because of the foul mouthed incessant negative ranting of a booze fuelled moron sitting next to me and my wife. Even after our goal he would not stop his vile diatribe aimed at any player who had the ball. Sitting directly in front of us were four small children apparently attending their first game,God knows what their father was thinking.In the end my wife saw how uptight Ihad got and asked for us to go. After telling the cretin why we were leaving we did just that. Iinformed a WPC sittig directly behind us but she just shrugged her shoulders. Today I just feel sad for our great club (i have been going for 50 years) but Iwill not be subjected to that sort of behaviour for anything

That looks a strong side with a good bench. Only Amavi & Grealish had any playing time of this eleven and that wasnt much from either of them.Perhaps the demons are now history
