Belgian have started very brightly. Apart from De Bryune who's touch for once has been appalling. Naingollen looks decent, has he come to the fore recently as don't remember before, seen his name recently but as I don't watch a lot of European football haven't seen much of him. Worst Italian team think I've ever seen.

I think irrelevant of how we get on in this tournament Roy will keep his job. There are no viable replacements out there and the FA seem to like what he is doing. Unless they keep him on in a kind of advisory role and have Southgate or Neville take over.

All my mates at my house thought we played crap, yet we see (and when I text others) that people think we played well.. Never got in behind a very poor Russia, few half chances where we should've done better.. Roy needs to play to our strengths, why didn't vardy come on? Still not convinced byRooney in midfield. We won't scare anyone... As for the crowd trouble, sick of the media saying its all England when the Russians are worse

I can see both sides of the argument really. Some youth teams could beat lower league sides and so it takes away the lower leagues chance of success and a day out at Wembley. However, the youth league is very poor in its current format in my eyes and so adding competition against seasoned pros could be benefitial... Probably just another trophy for Chelsea Youth to win.. (I don't watch youth football, but basing it on when out youngsters come into the first team, they always look not ready for the physical demands as they've never had to play against adults.)

This is the first time seeing embolo having heard he has a big reputation. Looks fairly lively, but a lot to learn (hard to judge too much on this) Sommer has kept Switzerland in this.. How haven't Albania scored?

Hmm I rated him at west ham, whenever I saw him play he was the best player on the pitch. Good work ethic and leads the team.

Had no idea Behrami played at Watford (shows how much villa have destroyed my football enjoyment this year). Always thought he was a good player, did he play much for Watford? Maybe with his Swiss links Di Matteo could get him in if he didn't play much for Watford. Would dominate the midfield for us.

I was one of those that questioned his ability when he was on form. But he was certainly better than anything we've had since. I think if fit enough we'd be stupid not to sign him. Yes he probably won't play a lot, but ten minutes left in a game he would certainly raise the spirits of fans and players. Imagine being the same dress in room as someone so influential being though what he has. Player/coach role would be brilliant
