Honestly not surprised by the scoreline even thou Denmark are missing some big players. They have better players but most of all they are a much better team.
Edit: And they are playing for Eriksen.
Denmark is going to have a massive support here. The game is played at the AJAX stadium who's had tons of quality Danish players through the years, among them Christian Eriksen.
And the Danes has also found a loophole to avoid the quarantine rules so a fair number in the stands.
I also hope Denmark win.
Yeah I mentioned him a couple times during the season, think he'd be a great signing. Not 100% the finished article yet but a really interesting player. Been steady progress during the season for Sampdoria.
After this transfer he'll be impossible to get so it's now or never.
I could see us spend big on another striker if the plan was to change the plan A to play with 2 attackers in say a 3-5-2. Can't see us doing it if we plan to continue with 4-3-3 and play with a single striker just to have a very expensive plan B on the bench.
Tammy would surely be at least £40m-£50m. For that money we don't buy a squad player.
Edit: And if that was the case I'd rather get Werner from Chelsea. Ducks for cover.
Guess they managed to pay back this little peach from January without issue and then found another £250m to spend on transfers. All within 6 months.

They are paying Aubameyang & Partey £250k/w and Willian & Lacazette close to £200k/w. A few extra k/w to their youth talents isn't the issue. But along with the stadium it all adds up to quite a lot of money.
Really hope there is nothing in the Romeu talk. He's pedestrian and reactionary, more and more plays like he has to make up for slight mistakes in positioning rather than anticipating and reading the game. He's already on fairly big wages and turning 30in a few months.
He's a good tackler but I have a feeling he's one of those who'll have a pretty rapid decline in quality in the coming season or 2.
Edit. sorry, turns 30 not 29
There used to at least be quite a lot of Swedes living in Glasgow as well and tons of em in the UK, especially London so I'm sure we'll see a lot of Swedish flags in Glasgow. But this format is shite.
Welsh fans banned from traveling to Amsterdam, Swedish fans banned from traveling to Glasgow. Any more fans who won't be allowed to attend in the last 16 due to quarantine rules?
Holland playing in Budapest, Denmark playing in Amsterdam, Spain playing in Copenhagen, Belgium vs Portugal in Seville.
At least England as the only team get the home advantage in the last 16.
This format is a blithering mess.
