    Not a great tournament for the countries with the nuttiest political leaderships. Hungary, Poland, Turkey & Russia all crash out. Thoughts and prayers. Sweden through but that doesn't seem to have saved the Swedish government...

    He has a whopping 3 games in the Bundesliga a couple of seasons ago and was highly rated with a few games in both the PL and Europe when he signed his last contract so it's not really that big a surprise. It's more due to them handing bloated contracts to the likes of Özil, Willian, Luiz and so on and paying massive fees for Pepe over even worse players like Torreira, Saliba and Mkhitaryan who are not even playing for them atm. £20k to a young talent I'm sure they can handle.

    Yeah I agree. I've never liked him and still don't but he does do a good job most of the time. Fully get why Andersson made him captain.

    According to Transfermarkt Julián Álvarez has started 37 games at RW and 26 games as center forward for River, and then the odd game at other positions. Pretty much all his games for Argentina at various levels has been at RW including his 1 cap at senior level. Think it's safe to say he can play in more than 1 position and like most modern players he's not static in one area when he plays.

    Going with the theme we should steal the one Arsenal have now. It's a Swedish guy named Andreas Georgson who's also been at Brentford. He ticks so many boxes.

    Potential €1 million fine from UEFA according to Bild if the German FA had lit the stadium in rainbow colors. Instead they are going to light up a wind turbine close to the stadium and another 30 stadiums around the country are going to be illuminated. UEFA really are not coming out looking good from this.     If Arsenal goes through with signing Ben White I'd be seriously tempted for Villa to get William Saliba from them. At 20 still a bit raw but I liked him at Saint Etienne and from what I saw he looked nice at Nice. Appears to be a bit of a divide between him and Arsenal so me be a deal to be made. Obviously we should also get Smith-Rowe and Saka

    Not really had any particular career until Barca snapped him up due to him having the only release clause they could afford to trigger to make that emergency signing. Says a lot of the state Barca was in that he's actually gotten a fair number of minutes. Must be both fun and embarrassing for him to train alongside Messi. He's basically a competition winner.

    Yeah this doesn't look very promising or positive to me. Feel like something we would have gotten under Xia or Lerner. They seem to know what they are doing thou so hopefully this is OK too.
