    Douglas Luiz

You watch Lille and Sanches a lot? Fwiw he missed almost half the season due to injuries and played at both RM, LM, ACM & CM when he did play. And it was much of the same the season before that up until the season was abandoned.

    New kits 21/22

Strong Fiorentina vibes for the new Anderlecht kit
  3. And without that clause we would have gotten a lot more, or kept him. Berge was a "above their stature" signing and a coup for Sheffield so he might very well have put in a favorable get out clause. But yeah, while built like a tank he's not the type of DCM some are asking for, he's more of a link up player who likes to drive forward from deep and who's good with the ball and pretty mobile once he get's up to speed. He's still young thou so I get why bigger clubs see him as a interesting prospect. He's someone I wanted us to sign the summer before he went to Sheffield, now it would be down to price and for £10m or so I'd absolutely be up for it.
  4. Yeah u never know with relegation clauses, we had to sell Gana for very little
  5. Possibly Eden Hazard as well. He might be out of form and not fully fit but he'd still be a loss.
  6. CR7, Pepe and Fernandes sobbing
  7. It's also very southern Spain to only do the speaker announcements in Spanish despite the fact that it's 2 non Spanish speaking nations playing Granted the Portuguese fans will understand it anyway.
  8. I plan to go back there sometime soon when the world is back to normal-ish. Dream would be to watch the Betis-Sevilla derby, preferably at the Benito Villamarín since Betis is my team in Spain.
  9. Apparently I'm an Explorer now, this calls for a celebration!
  10. Yeah it's silly hot. Spent some time there and in Granada that's in the same region. One night we had just below 40 °C outside our flat. (Was a pharmacy across the street with one of those green signs and a big digital thermometers) Granted is was in late July/early August. Think they moved it from Bilbao due to some Covid regulations regarding fans but I remember the Basques being unhappy about it and claiming politics. Not sure why they are playing at the Olympic stadium but I know both Seville clubs have been renovating their stadiums so might be due to construction.
  11. They are playing at that silly Olympic stadium rather than on one of the 2 really good stadiums in the city that belongs to Sevilla and Betis. Awful pitch and enormous running tracks. One reason as to why the game has been so pedestrian might be that it's been almost 35 °C in Seville and it's still quite hot.
  12. Wow the ref really missed a blatant yellow card there on the guy pulling Lukakus jersey
  13. Fernandes on the bench once again for Portugal. Awww.
  14. Germany not happy about not being allowed to train at Wembley ahead of the game. English FA claiming the pitch is in too bad shape so Germany banned and has decided to stay a day longer at home instead of travelling to England.
  15. Good thing he settled for a hand job.
  16. But with a 90% shorter neck.
  17. Props to the Czech coach for bringing on the Jan Koller clone.
  18. I'm not a fan of VAR either way but it should be the guy on the pitch who makes the call. If there is a situation the the VAR guys should just alert the ref and have him go watch the video. No need for the VAR guys to first spend minutes deciding if it is anything for the ref to go watch on the screen. Cut out the middle men.
  19. As it should be the ref on the pitch goes over and watches the video to come to his own decision about the situation.
  20. Correct call from the ref, that's a red.
  21. Must be close to red for that handball
