Comments like this aren't needed. I think we should be grateful to Kevin and the staff remaining. They are taking on heavy work schedules so we can take our time looking for a new manager. Half the staff left with O'Neill so we're very short staffed, we pretty much have a couple of coaches while Friedel is a temporary goalkeeping coach. I'm not sure we have a fitness coach right now. McDonald did not expect this, he's done a fantastic job for years in the reserves and has been thrown in the deep end. He's had to take training for both the senior players and youth with McAndrew and then after deal with constant press conferences, the trip to Vienna whilst scouting opposition. Yeah he **** up today, but he doesn't deserve some of the cheap comments I have seen. We've had injuries to deal with and the players out there deserve a few words if anything. We started the first half well but we conceded and their heads all dropped. It was a pathetic roll over, and barely any of them showed any passion to turn it around, I would have been very disappointed if I went today.

Awful result, wanna hide under a rock for the week. Awaits extreme reactions. All I can say is the players should be ashamed and don't deserve their wages for that performance. But we will bounce back.

How do you rate the staff such as the coaches, physios, scouts etc? I have no problem with ours, but it must be tricky to give attributes to some of the staff which are out of the limelight. Obviously the likes of McAndrew and McDonald are pretty easy to rate though, and they seem pretty spot on to me.

You have unrealistic expectations. A score draw away in Europe is an excellent result. In all the games tonight in the Europa league, only two teams have won away from home with a two goal lead. One was Porto pretty much a Champions League side. Says it all. EDIT: It is also disrespectful to a Rapid side who beat us last year. It was not an easy game in the slightest.

Totally disagree, NRC broke up play well and got forward on the right occasions. Being on a yellow card for so long I was worried but he kept disciplined and didn't do any rash challenges.

I very much doubt it, I reckon the likes of Dunne(suspended), Gabby (injured), Cuellar (injured), and Young (rested) to return. Maybe even Petrov.

Poor performance, however last season we came here and got beat. Now we're drawing with an away goal, in a very hostile atmosphere. It'll be an excellent result if we can hang on, our away games under MON were very similar to this, so it's nothing really new. At home you play possession football, away you invite the pressure and counter attack. Let's remember Rapid are no mugs and the referee really hasn't helped.
