Hi, Firstly I know it’s a little unusual to see an advert for an eBay auction on here but this does have meaning behind it (and permission from the moderators) so please bear with me. As I'm sure a lot of you remember back in October 2011 forum member Paddy sadly passed away following an extremely courageous battle with a brain tumour. Since then there has been an incredible amount of fund raising going on in Pat’s name in order to try to raise money to support brain tumour research. For one of these fundraising events I purchased a shirt which the good folks at Aston Villa very kindly got signed for me in December. This shirt was used as a raffle prize during one of these fundraising days. The winner of the shirt very kindly asked me to put it up for auction for the same charity in order to try and raise some more money rather than keeping it for themselves. The shirt is from the 2012/2013 season but was signed in December 2013 by 16 players. I am afraid I cannot confirm exactly who has signed it but some of the names are easy to make out from the signatures and squad numbers. The shirt is listed in an eBay auction with a £0.99 starting price and is due to end at 20:13 on 09/02/2014. Please check it out and if you feel like making a donation to an amazing charity in Paddy’s name then it would be great if you made a bid. There is a picture of the shirt below and lots more on the auction. On Saturday I again had the honour of presenting this trophy to Christian Benteke after the Malaga match. We are so grateful to everyone at VillaTalk for their help in organising this trophy and it is so great to have Patrick’s memory live on in this way. Once again everyone at the club was so incredibly helpful and accommodating and Christian was a really nice guy who was very grateful to receive the award. I will have some more photos in the next few days that were taken by a club photographer which I will upload once I receive them. The guy on the right of the photograph is a friend of mine and Patrick’s called Rammy. We attended many games together over the years and it was great to have him there with me to present the trophy. Hi, For those of you who don't know, I was Pat's cousin and had the honour of presenting the trophy to Stephen Ireland last year. First of all, I speak for the whole family when I say, we have defiantly not lost interest. Quite the opposite, we would be terribly upset if the trophy didn't get presented this year. As far as organising for it to be presented this year, that is down to the moderators here at Villa Talk. I know those involved have been caught up in some personal things and I have offered to take over the process in the past. I will once again say though, if there is anything I can do to ensure this happens please let me know. I'm happy to pick up the whole thing, just let me know. As for the current trophy location, it is with the club. Although we presented it to Stephen, he was asked to leave it in the clubs possession. I believe it has been on display somewhere, but I am not sure where. Thanks to all of you who have stayed interested and involved. My sisters friend is in Vegas and had his photo with Benteke. Not sure if its the same one as on twitter as not seen that. He was out with Samir Nasari at the time, has that been mentioned? Hope he wasn't tapping him up for a man city move!

I have a ps3 at the moment and will probably upgrade to a ps4 or Xbox one at somepoint. I am not a massive gamer though, the only reason I went for ps3 was blu ray. Now that they both have that I think which one has the better media capabilities will appeal to me as the only games I really play tend to be released on both anyway. I didn't see the launch video but it seems to have gone down pretty badly from what I can tell. Is anyone interested in a fantasy F1 league. I use Castrol Edge one (advertised on autosport) it's really good. Just have to select top 10, pole position, fastest lap and most positions gained each race. I can create a league and post the code. Most people are going to miss the first weekend (have to have done it by qually) but it won't matter too much over the whole season

I can't see me ever wanting to ring up a number to listen to a match. Would much rather find a video stream

Interview on SSN in a min

I got stuck in one in a hotel in Bristol last year. Not for that long but the lift was really full so got really hot. It was a pretty modern lift so it tries to re-align itself with a floor when it fails. This involves it dropping suddenly in small increments. A great feature I’m sure, but if you don’t know what’s happening it sure does make you feel like you’re about to plummet to the bottom! Anyway that along with a few other disastrous things during my stay there got me a free night there to use next time so all in all not too bad!

Just be brutal man, you can get a cool photograph out of all of those files, try 2, 3, and 6. Boost the levels, contrast and add a spot of sharpening and you'll be sound. Thanks for the reply. I'm a complete photoshop novice... So what exactly does boosting the levels mean?! Cheers

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me out with a bit of advice please. I got a new camera a few months ago and I am pretty please with it and I am slowly getting used to all the modes and settings and things. One thing I am struggling with though is selecting which of my pictures to keep when I have lots of the same. I have uploaded 7 photos I took of a parrot the other day to SkyDrive here. All of these are pretty much the same so obviously I don’t want to keep them all, but I find it hard to narrow them down and see which is the ‘better’ photo. These are all straight from the camera, I guess the whole selection process gets even harder if I look at each one to see if it would be better than the others if I enhanced or cropped it. Thanks

I noticed that too. It was almost like: you taught him to dive so it's fair enough that he uses it against you!

Is anyone else noticing loads of lagging in the game? I got a pretty good connection and Black ops was running really smooth but this just isn't. I walk round a corner and by the time I see him I am dead. If I watch his kill cam back it looks like I walk out and just stand there while he empties a whole mag into me. I have read somewhere that they try and compensate by slowing down people with faster connections, feels like they got it wrong to me!

Don't worry I have passed on all the messages to Pat's mum and dad. Thank you again for all of your kind words. Pat truly was an incredible person and that is reflected by the amount of people his passing has affected.
